Pro's? was created by wes
Hi

Why is it that we have so few Pro bodybuilders?
Is it becuase of the gurus?or the lack of potent steriods, wich i doubt is the case?

What Is the main reason?becuase whe have an good steroid source, and enough people that knows how the stuff works.Or is it that we have underdosed roids?

What is it that they have and we dont?

there are many pro's but how many of them compete are differnt stories...

can i tell u something, the gurus do make things easier but alot of people dont understand the body as well as some of these gurus do... i mean lets take case in point hany rambod, when he works with someone everything is done in a very scientific way in order to cover all the bases,he explains everything about why he uses certain methods in nutrition and why he changes this and that, this is cos he likes people to know what he is doing and that is why he has the 96% success rate of his competitors winning shows.

then u get george farah,he knows what to do and how to do it but never goes and tells his clients in a methodical manner of what is happening, alot of changes happen over night in his diets and never in a weekly planned manner.

we have an excellent source of roids in the form of PGW in this country,as good as any brand in the world... what we lack is the knowledge of nutrition and training and the combination of those and the chemicals...also genetics and hard work do play a part in the whole process...alot of these pros are genetically gifted...what you need is some one who can take random joe and get him to look like a pro through nutrition, chemicals and training.... thats a true guru....alot of guys dont have the ability to diet, train and push their bodies to the limit! its a huge mental thing where u need to be able to push the pain barrier and to the limit...what we dont have is the ability to go beyond in mental power...

what is our local gurus like?do we have any?

whom is on our pro list today?i know of Marius Dohne. Why dont our guys compete in pro shows exept Marius.?We have great bodybuilders like Marius,Andre,John ect.

How will you know if the the guy has the genetics to turn pro,or is that u can turn pro but genetics play a role in how well your placings will be like winning olimpia for example. The world of pro bodybuilding realy got me curios!like all the secrets out there!

we have more than one pro, marius dohne is the one we all see in the mags, there is hennie kotze who is the latest one... you need to place in the top 6 at IFBB worlds and beat the drug test in order to apply for a pro card and earn it. marius got tested last time at worlds and didnt beat it,but then went on to place at nabba universe, and wpf which had sway with the ifbb in order to grant him his pro card....

yes we have local "gurus" as such but they keep low profiles, there are old school trainers like chris scott who help get people into shape but he is a trainer and he wouldnt classify himself as a guru,i help guys get ready for shows and 2 of my competitors have placed in there line ups in their world shows yet i dont classify myself as a guru as i am far from it,i know how chemicals work and i know how nutrition works but that doesnt make me a guru...

the next pro card on the SA list is gonna be Andrew Hudson....

u are going to be trying to learn the secrets for years to come dude,i have been in this game for the last 4 years and i am still searching for things that will help and better the guys i help, there are so many things out there that we over look every day and no one body is the same so cookie cutter approaches cannot work..

a guru is some one like : Chris Aceto,George Farah,Milos Sarcev,Chad Nichols,Hany Rambod,Oscar Arden,Dave Palumbo... they are "gurus" i only classify 3 of those to be gurus on my personal list as they work with chemicals and nutrition and training not one or two of the 3.

dont use suspension, rather test prop... bacteria lives in water... suspension is the number 1 cause of infections...rather use prop,3-4mls of prop a week, split your tren and test en dosage into 3 or 4 and inject that with 1ml test prop for the first 3 weeks of your cycle...so 1ml test prop 0.6ml test en and 0.6ml tren en 3x a week.

Nice one there DJ!

I love Pro body building and would give my left nut just to speak to a guy like Hany Rambod. To me he's the ultimate in terms of "gurus"!

You must also remember when a guy like Jay Cutler gets spotted at a young age the underground of body building comes to life, they snatched up by contest prep guys fairly quickly. From what I've heard these guys work with 10+ specialists going into like a Mr.Olympia. They have endocrinologists on the pay role to work with their particular genetics in order to custom make the most effective steroid cycle possible. The same with diet and training.

Passion is what seperates these guys from the rest, I watch Amderica's Got Talent or American Idol, just compare them to our local shows of the same nature. NO CONTEST, im not dissing South Africa but I hear when they interview these guys, their entire lives consist of drive(Passion) towards a certain goal each individual has. Genetics and talent are moulded by their country. Things like economy play a Vital role, countries like America have such great business processes, marketing, therefore demand for these things that Athletes can attain sponsorships at very young ages when their talent is recognised as to groom it and allow the indivdual to be the best that they can be. Take our country for example, how many athletes in various sports are actually sponsored, Athletics was a prime example. Sports Directors are to busy pumping the money into useless development programmes which aren't development programmes at all but enrich certain individuals rather than the community.

They have lots of time to focus on their "passion" because they aren't dodging bullets and there are plenty jobs around. Cost of living is lower etc.
