Bsc Degree was created by Roozer
Good day guys.

If someone can shed some light on this one, like Spike and pump.

I want to start studying again. As i am done with the Financial industry it really pisses me off. So i am starting to change industry. And what i want to do is start studying a Bsc psychology and physiology (genetics) it is a new degree part of Unisa's new curriculum. This will be done for career purposes, It is quite a broad degree. And i am really going to hammer this until my Phd. But now what i would like to know is i will have to make a choice for the future, What will be the highlight to move into, we all know that starting up family and to support a healthy lifestyle we need moola. I really don't want to study my ass off and earn minimal. I know my mindset will be better when i am almost finished with the degree but what will you guys rate is the better industry to move in with the honours. Nutrition, Physiology, Psychology ect. with this degree i can look at cardiac physiologist, i can do my post grads for sport nutritionist, or commercial psychology. Basically i need to go were the money is and what will be the better route.?

Thanx

Hahaha Romp I know exactly what you mean with tough, the market is just a little flooded if you have the database ready you can make big money. I was in the insurance game but moved over to the banking industry in sales and marketing and the money was great until they retrenched me recently Fkn nice. I got my head wrapped on this degree as i love psychology and physiology I am on this stage to try and get into a supplement company and see how it goes from there. I am just gatvol for doing something that i hate.

Ye man. Sometimes I dono if i hate my job or love it. I like working with ppl but then again i fkn hate to work with ppl. haha. makes ur income go up and down. and when its down, it fkn stays down. Damnit. Making an honost living is hard in this type of work. Work for ur pocket or for the clients best interests. My pockets are empty and I can look at myself in the mirror...If i could afford 1. rofl.

You just don't want to end up getting a degree that has no market value. My sister is about to finish a Masters in Zoology but she has no idea what she is going to do with it. Unless she becomes an acedemic that pays peanuts what do you do with a qualification like that. I would be much more comfortable studying a professional degree - eg. you study engineering you become an engineer, you study law you become a lawyer, you study medicine you become a doctor.
Seems like you have an interest in the medical field, if medicine is to much, why not get a degree in psycology - psycologists can earn a fortune.

Hey stuart yes well doing the bsc degree i can become a medical rep and they earn real good money, so if that is the case, i will just do my honours in psychology, if it does not pay to become a cardiac physiologist. I really dont want to waste time and money, ( education is never money wasted ) but i want to earn the money that is worth the time, sweat and tears that went into the studies. I did a little research today, It came to 3 options. Psychology, Physiology, and nutrition. that will be the choices of doing the honours and masters. But i believe that choice will come closer on the last years of studies. If i could rewind time i would have studied MBChB (medical)

Psychology has good money in it, but its not that easy to get into the honours program and then its late nights and lotsa text books.. but if you got the passion it makes it that much easier.

Don't know about the rest though, would be interesting to hear, i'm (hopefully) graduating from law this year but really been interested in nutrition lately. Was thinking of doing that part time.

Study what interests you, trust me studying something that you not 100% dedicated and enjoy will be a waste of time and money.

Losing is natures way of telling you, you suck!!!
