JOINT/WRIST pain remedy anyone? was created by Robin Hood
Morning folks...I have a very small "bone-structure" and weigh (naked) about 62 Kgs. I do Dumbbell-press with 2x 45KG weights, and it seems my wrists cant handle it. I know DECA can help, but I'm afraid it might be PASS that stage...Any ideas?

So you're pushing allot more than you're own body weight, nice!

I prefer calcium, a joint support with MSM and Flax seed oil.

And I always use my wrist straps for pushing movements!

Funny that you mentioned it...I've heard quite a lot about this Flax-seed oil. Regarding to the wrist-straps..I use USN cloves and they already has the straps on them. This "Flax-Seed Oil", can you buy it at like say Pick 'n Pay, or only at a chemist?

I buy a big bottle at Dischem. It helps with inflammation and various other health benefits.

I also has Schiek gloves with the wrist straps but the best is to use proper "stand alone" wrist straps.

For the acute pain Diclofenac, or voltaren tabs. Thereafter MSM supplement is great with Flaxseed oil, but must be prolonged use. As stated I also use stand alone straps works well to support wrists.

i use a joint mixture made for horses and also fish oil. i do heavy weights and it works perfectly.

remember to only use the wrist straps when you take 'heavy' weights, otherwise your wrists are just going to get weaker and weaker.

MOBILITY Joint Supplement from EQUIFOX

its a mixture of glucosamine, MSM and Chondroitin. comes in a powder and around R250 for 500g so you can adjust dosage to meet specific needs.
im a powerlifter so work with heavy weights thats hard on the joints and cant go on deca because of drug testing. i used all the different "osteo" supplements but this is the only thing that helps.

@Frikkie, I fully agree. I had an injured wrist and as the result of wearing a wrist guard for continuous training, my wrist seemed weaker than it was before! So now i only use it for "heavy" weights and its getting its strength back :)

Allot of joint support supps have that combination. Do you buy that specific one from the vet?

suprised to see that no one here asked about the specifics of the pain, how do we know it is simply joint wear and tear. There could well be injury to the surrounding ligaments, tendons and muscles...

Give a little more detail about the pain robin and we can determine whether there is more to it than just wear and tear.

Um, but im scared of needles...
