That little ''1 new'' tab

ok this has slowly but surely been driving me mad :blush:
The little tab that appears next to a topic when it has new unread posts, well why oh why is it so hard to click on?

It seems that i can only get it to highlight if i am just on either sides edge of it... Sorry if im being pedantic but this is making my quick read into a game of trying to point my cursor accurately. Admin please help?

Its almost like i need the cursor to be directly over the brackets themselves in order to highlight... My hand eye co-ordination is getting some practise

LoL.. I don't have that problem with Safari, Chrome, and Firefox..
