as far as i know he hasnt turned pro and i dont know if he will, alot of the guys from overseas stay amatuer as they make more money winning amature shows then they do as pros...alot of the earn 5 000 euro for winning a line up and then another 10 000 euro for the overalls, and they will enter 4-5shows like that a year...some of them dont even make 5000 euro as a pro in a year... i mean if u look at marius dohne, how many pro shows is he gonna win? how much money is he really earning as an ifbb pro?

wow, never thought of that dj. But is not that the real money is in sponsorship deals? Dont the pro's get thier bucks there? I mean since marius turned pro, he went to muscle science then back to usn, obviously big money was involved....i would think...whats your thoughts?

Heard he was with USN, nut MS got him back due to contract stuffups.

If u good, ur good, dont think u need to be pro in SA to make money tho. Alexey is the shit man, got a clip of him. damnnnn.

such big money they couldnt afford to send him over to compete last year, hence the reason he left MS and then went to usn...muscle science is a dying brand! thats what u gotta realise, marius probably earns more than the owner of muscle science...

yes the money is in the sponsorship deals but also you have to be in the big leagues to earn the money that Jay,Phil,Branch,Dexter and all of them earn from muscle tech...but if u are no where in the competitive league as those guys then u are wasting your time turning pro...

honestly tell me how much money do u think Marius gets just because he is a pro?same with hennie kotze...they arent earning the million dollar marks like jay cutler is...it costs them more to fly to the us,uk to compete and stay there and eat food that they do than they earn from taking part in those shows....

Andrew Hudson recons that alot of the guys who win the world champs dont want their pro cards at all because they are making more money doing what they are doing winning shows like they are...

being a pro with out living in the us,and having a Us sponsorship is a waste of time in my eyes yet there are people still going for that route.....

Pro card = living in the US, then you coin it... Thats just the way it is.

The fact is that there are very few people that live the life Cutler lives from sponsonships and winnings.

Victor Martinez, who I rate as one of the top pros was caught selling gear and he also does personal training.

Hennie Kotze has quite a successful gym in PTA which keeps him alive.

If you go do a bit a digging on the net then you'll see reports of pros being males nude models and a bunch of other stuff.

It like with every sport, its only the top people that are in the lime light and it gets presumed that this is how the guys live. This is unfortunately true to almost every sport where only the individual is responsible for the win. Look at athletics, Usain Bolt is the man but how do you think the guy lives that came last in the 100m at the olympics.
