how much juice is wasted ? was created by SLEON
Hi guys , hope everyone is well

Just for interest sake can anyone tell me if you bleed after pinning , how much juice actually comes out with the blood ? the reason i am asking is because everytime i inject i bleed after taking the needle out , now i know a few drops is normal , but it is usually more than a few drops , and when i aspirate there is no blood at all

i never used to worry to much about it but recently i started thinking about if there is any juice lost ?

sorry if this has been discussed before , i couldn't find anything

thanks for any input

What normally works for me is I try to push the needle in as far as possible. After injecting, I don't pull the needle out immediately and when I pull out I put some pressure on the site with cotton wool for a while.

Had the exact same thought the other day after pinning. If you think about the volume of
one drop its nothong in comparison to whats stayed in.

you probably pinning too low. I find if i pin higher up in the muscle and not fat there is no blood

I pin in outer top quater of the glute , dont know if its because i mainly use my glutes for pinning , but even when pinning shoulders i do bleed more than normal , really don't know why , but as long as i dont lose a lot af juice when bleeding , i can live with it hey . i also add pressure on the site when i pull the pin out , still more than a few drops on the tissue , and when i let go it wil bleed a little bit again , but like pump said the waste is not enough to worry about , and if that is tha case i don't mind lol !!

Its called - "Z-tracking". You pull the skin tightly to one side before injecting. When you pull out you release the loose skin and it covers the hole - Z.

The other bit you lose is when you draw the oil. There is always a bit left in the pipeline between the plunger and the tip of the needle.

Learn to drawthe correct amount - its always a bit too much. Draw the oil you think you need. Draw some air. turn the syringe upside-down. Measure - .1 ml too much? maybe more? Thats what you lose every time you inject.

To get past this draw a small bubble after all the oil. Turn the needle to face down and the bubble and plunger top. Now inject and make sure the bubble is the last to go down the needle. Remember oil runs slow so make sure you give it enough time to enter the tip of the syringe before you plunge some of that bubble. YOU DONT NEED MUCH AIR!

Once you get sick of all this you just order a bit more and dont hastle. Thats where im at now. Cant be bothered with a bit of wastage - too much effort.

I know this is an oldish post but maybe this can help someone:

I figured out during my current cycle that when I pull the needle out after injecting in one go, even when doing it slowly, some juice is wasted. I guess you create a vacuum as you pull the needle out.

So when I pull the needle out I pull it out slowly 1/3 of the way, then wait 10 to 15 seconds, pull out to about 2/3 of the way slowly, wait again 10 to 15 seconds then pull out the rest of the way slowly. Every time I did it like this there was basically nothing coming out of the injection cite… :woohoo:

Cheers
