what keeps you motivated? was created by VonD
Just wanted to know what keeps you motivated? What makes you get up at 4 in the morning to train?what makes you pass the kfc and eat oats? What makes you press through those forced reps and hours of training and pain?

Fear of losing my gains and the fact that I'm still not where I want to be keeps me motivated :)

Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!

At this stage staying motivated is the hardest thing, family taking strain with my mood swings. My wife keeps me motivated with her continuos effort in putting up with me and all the food she cooks 8*/day. My trainer Dj keeps me motivated not wanting to let him down with all his effort and time on me, this Forum keeps me motivated as we all share like passions. Passion drives me, I love this game...

I still struggle with this. I am committed and motivated when it comes to training but i have no self discipline when it comes to diet. It really is a huge problem

Try this start out Sun-Thu super strict, then Fri, Sat eat as you want to. Gradually drop Fri, then only cheat Sun, then take 1 cheat meal Sun last meal of the day. It's how I started

I also gradually eased my way into my new diet.I found that when people just change everything from the get go they usually can't handle it and they go back to their bad habits.Start slow and you will get there. B)

I do 5 heavy weight sessions a week and about 4x50min morning slow cardio sessions weekly...

i the week I just stick to eating steak, oats, sweet potato, chicken, eggs, whey, salad

I only eat carbs at breakfast, pre and post workout...

over weekends I relax a bit... and atleast enjoy one PIG meal.

and im still loosing weight... without any serious messuring...

Well, beside compliments, I too like what I see happening.

I was:

128kg
XXL shirt fitted tight
42 pants
Stomach was 133cm
Im 173cm tall

Now Im:

113kg
XL shirt fits fine
38 pants fits loose
Stomach as measured yesterday, 117cm

My goal by Dec/Jan is 105kg, stomach 110cm and biceps 49cm (they currently 47,5cm).

To see how my body is changing. I'm by no means look like a pro bb'er but I've got some size and ppl react to it.

also I look at pics of Wrath's arms, Arnies chest, etc and I'm super motivated.
