Bilingual, mom English, dad Afrikaans but I speak mostly Afrikaans at home.

Couldn’t speak a word of Afrikaans when I was a young kid, now it's my first language.

Ek praat afrikaans met my familie en vriende, engels met die engelse mense en Xhosa met al die ander mense, but I would say Afrikaans is my home language and English the unofficial every other language.

Oh and sometimes I speak fanagalore when driving on our roads.
