I have just come across an article that talks about studies that suggest Glyphosate destroys testosterone and male fertility! Glyphosate is apparently used as a herbicide in agriculture but more alarmingly is that I used it the other day to kill weeds/grass that were growing in my pool paving! This is a common use for the stuff and a lot of people are using it in the locally available brand "Efekto Roundup" in this same manner. I think I bought mine at the local Pick n Pay.

The article states: "even at one ppm, Roundup was responsible for causing severe endocrine disruption that reduced testosterone levels by 35 percent" It is damn easy to get such a low dose simply from spraying or pouring this kak on your paving! I do not know how accurate the study was but I wont be risking using this stuff again lol!

Here is the full text of the article:
Ethan A. Huff
NaturalNews
A recent study published in the Journal of Toxicology in Vitro has found that, even at very low levels, Monsanto’s herbicide formula Roundup destroys testosterone and ultimately leads to male infertility. The findings add to the more than 25 other diseases known to be linked to Roundup, which include DNA damage, birth defects, liver dysfunction, and cancer.
For their study, Emilie Clair and her colleagues from the Universite de Caen Basse-Normandie Institute of Biology in France tested the effects of glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, on testicular cells from rats. Ranging in dilution from one part per million (ppm) to 10,000 ppm, which accounts for varying exposure levels in real life situations, each of the tests revealed undeniable cell toxicity caused by Roundup.
Interestingly, the findings revealed that even at one ppm, Roundup was responsible for causing severe endocrine disruption that reduced testosterone levels by 35 percent. And a one ppm exposure level is considered to be extremely low, and much lower than typical exposure levels in everyday environmental situations.
At higher exposure levels, Roundup was shown to induce testicular cell death in a little as one hour, and typically no later than 48 hours after exposure. And this is only acute toxicity, as the study did not analyze the long-term effects of continual and repeated exposure to Roundup, which has already been shown to seep into rivers and groundwater supplies.
A similar study published in the journal Reproductive Toxicology back in 2007 found similar results. In vivo tests with Roundup revealed that the ducks exposed to Roundup exhibited “alterations in the structure of the testis and epididymal (a part of the male reproductive system) region as well as in the serum levels of testosterone and estradiol, with changes in the expression of androgen receptors restricted to the testis.”
So contrary to the claims made by Monsanto, there is truly no safe exposure level to Roundup. At typical exposure levels, it has been proven to destroy human cells and cause serious reproductive harm. And at trace levels, it has been proven to severely disrupt proper hormonal function and lead to low testosterone in men.
“Because it’s a systemic pesticide and sprayed in high doses, produce and fruit and nut trees often take up the poison into the parts of the food we eat,” writes Leah Zerbe in a recent Rodale Newspiece on Roundup. “Three easy ways to reduce your exposure? Eat organically grown foods … [a]dopt organic lawn care techniques in your yard, and start an organic garden to further reduce your exposure to harmful chemicals.”

Would be far more concerned about the estrogen floating in our water supply, research xenoestrogens to blow your mind

Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!

Is that where estrogen from women taking the pill gets into the water supply and passes on untreated into our taps?
If that is so I wonder what foods it ends up in too!

ther was a program on carte-blance that had a similar story. it was to do with ddt. i know for a fact that roundup is not good for any human. the stuff gets absorbed through your skin too but nut as much as through resperating. best is to wear gloves ,overall, and respirator with goggles when spraying. it can give you some deformed babies too. bad shit.

Certain industrial chemicals found in our water supply mimic estrogen in our bodies, leading to decreased fertility rate and increase in homosexuality in soceiety (inb4 shitstorm). Explains why most kids (me included grow up with gyno) thats why you'll find alot of plastic manufacturing companies putting "BPA Free" logos on their equipment. Quite a few interesting books and articles available online

Damn! We just may need AI's for everyday use lol!
The thing that concerns me about Roundup is that it could screw up your PCT and thus cost gains. I mean lower natural test while on a course may be fine but when we are trying to maximize natural test levels during PCT and some garden poison lowers that by 35% its going to cost us hard earned muscle. Couple that to increased estrogen in the drinking water and the problem is magnified.
I wonder if Xenoestrogen levels are higher in Cape Towns water

I do not believe for 1 second that homosexuality comes from estrogen.. I know a few gay bodybuilders that use extremely high doses of testosterone and that does not make them become straight.

Eish dont waanna offend anyone here but, dont most homosexuals claim that "they were born that way" and were always "effeminate" and what does estrogen do? Not an expert at all on this topic so no offence to anyone

this is a bit of a touchy subject but i believe its not phisical its spiritual. but ya. you still have to treat these people as do do all people. blessing is on life not on the choices of people.

Its not for us to judge, but hormones do affect behaviour. Its like the surge of hormones during pregnancy make women do and act differently, their bodies change and they tend to do the "nesting" thing while vokal hormonal changes happen in us, and then they want to know why we are not on the same level as them
I firmly believe that increased estrogen levels coupled with decreased testosterone levels do result in more feminine behaviour, or should I say less macho/manly behaviour. Whether or not that will cause you to like pole instead of hole is not relevant within this context, the real issue is whether it will negatively affect your physique. Deadgoat's reasoning that it causes gyno in kids makes sense. Estrogen also increases fat storage characterised by the pear shape.
