-In the one study 86 hypogonadal men (average age 29) treated with only clomid: Total testosterone levels went from an average of 192 ng/dL at baseline to 485 ng/dL. 70% of the men were using only 25mg clomid every 2nd day.
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22044663
-In the other study with 46 hypogonadal men (average age 44) treated with only clomid: Total test levels were 228 ng/dL, and went up to 612 ng/dL! All men were only using 25mg clomid every 2nd day
Many guys can't handle the side effects of clomid at 50mg+ per day. Clomid can make you feel like a depressed premenstrual chick! But, if these results are anything to go by this might be a very good alternative way to treating post PCT low testosterone levels. At a low 25mg EOD or 12.5mg a day the side effects should not be an issue.

The studies used 25mg EOD. Basically 12.5mg/day. I'd only say it's worthwhile if you are struggling to get your testosterone levels back to normal post pct. A young guy like you on a normal 8-12 week cycle shouldn't have to worry about that. With older guys 35+, cycles 16+ weeks or after a very suppressive cycle (unless prolacti is the culprit) would make more sense. Ideally you want to let your htpa do its thing to function on it's own.
Dr. Crisler and Dr. Shippen who treat hypogonadism are also both offering this 12.5mg/day protocol with hypogonadal patients as an alternative to the usual test + ai treatment.

How long would you say one should run that dose of Clomid for, if experiencing fatigue, decrease in strength, decreased endurance etc post cycle? I was planning on getting a supplement like Universal Animal Test, Tribulus, ZMA or some DAA to elevate my test levels to where they were. But that would obviously cost a lot more than a small dose of Clomid.
What would you recommend?

Yes, for PCT I prefer nolva if it's one or the other. Better as a serm and 20mg nolva boosts LH more than 100mg Clomid. But nolva isn't recommended by endo/urologists. Go figure.

If need be, 12.5mg is such a low, harmless dose and since it's been shown to work I would do 1 month without even worrying. I'd still do DAA as well.
