I have a bit of knowledge on this because one of my friends won IFBB Sa in 2008 in his weight class and obviously he had to do a couple of comps that year.
So PCT should be done after the comp as imo you'll definitely hold a bit of water when coming off before.

its an individual challenge
either u get ur contest cycle and Diet ready to the T and cycle through the contest
or u take the risk and drop everything 3 weeks prior
in any case its the Diet that needs to be adjusted perfectly

Okay it makes kind of sense if your only doing one comp. What happens if you do more than one comp? My thinking says that if you then reintroduce test you'll have a spike in estrogen, which in turn will then lead you to hold water.all test shots should be dropped 2 weeks before the show to combat any chance of estrogen conversion, use an anti estrogen in those 2 weeks to come in with no water and hard...

Well the waterdropping he is going to use is as follows...
he's taking between 6-8l water in a day at the moment (9weeks from show) and that last week doing the carb cycling without training to get the inflamation (water) out of the muscles the day before contest night he reduces his water intake to 1l from 1pm and on show day only sip on ice cubes till stage time, he'll alse be doing a creatine loading fase during the last 5days up to show with added glutamine and taurine to ubsorb it better and suck alot of water into the muscle cells and also when he drops his water, the creatine will already be loaded into the muscle cells for fullness etc...please help if this is incorrect!?...
pumping up backstage on pure dextrose mixed in water...60g...this ohk?? (dosage will depend on if he's coming in flat or so..)
also if he feels up to it, he's looking for a nice diuretic for the night before show, any help? (probly wont be able to help due to new rules  )
and epson salt bath night before show?? read something about that on this forum somewhere? 400g?
We'll be doing this show together and see how it goes, its our first try so things will tweak out from here but this is what we were thinking...thanx

I'm not 100% on when to start taking in carbs as everybody is different but here it goes.
On the Friday you should start to carb up with your first two meals containing 50g of carbs derived from mainly fruit as this will replenish your liver glycogen very quickly. Then your next two meals should also be about 50g of carbs from mainly rice or potatos (startchy carbs). Then by 4pm you should cut ALL water intake. Then with your last meals of the days you should have quite a lot of simple sugars (ice cream or something similar.
That's how far my knowledge goes for contest prep.
Just be careful of diuretics as that's when most serious issues and sometimes death comes with body building.
Hope DJ, Testoboy, Ogre and those boys could assist further.
Please don't train legs heavy at least ten days before the comp.
