Recalls are fairly common in the pharmaceutical industry, which is alarming in itself but nobody is perfect. What makes or breaks a company is how they handle those recalls, they can either be open and honest about it and make an active attempt to get the bad products back or they can take the Ford Kuga approach and try and hide the full extend of the problem.

Has Ciccone or their dealers made any attempts to warn their clients about the bad batch? I have no relationship with them so don't know if they have done anything yet. They simply cannot sit back and wait for clients to report problems before they act, because they have to prevent people from using the affected batch(es) in the first place and so far the only pubic warning I'm aware of is this thread.
Their lack of transparency is only going to fuel speculation and I already have a few theories why they don't want to disclose the batch info:
1: They want to hide the full extend of the problem.
2: They don't know which batches are affected.
3: They don't use real batch numbers and therefore there is no way to identify bad products.
