whey vs bcaa was created by ice-rip
Hi guys
So I decided not use whey going forward as now I'm certain I'm lactose intolerant. Even isolates bloat me and cause flatulence.

Last night I had a cup of coffee with milk only as a treat. It was hell afterwards. So I know I'm lactose intolerant.

My alternate for postworkout is now bcaa powder to avoid all the side effects of lactose.

1)Is 5 grams pre and 5grams post sufficient?
2) Is SSN bcaa powder 2:1:1 decent. Any benefit on spending more on scivation xtend?
3) Do you count 5 grams of bcaa powder as 20 calories and 5 grams of protein
4) Should I add glutamine

Thanks guys
PS I have dropped 20 kilos now. Got a few more to go and then will start a clean bulk

Have you tried egg protein? Kudos for the weight loss!

Why not try egg protein like pyro suggested or a rice/pea protein blend?

I'd actually go for pure l-leucine. They all 3 rely on the same mechanism of transport so they inhibit absorption of one another.

Leucine is most important amino, having a positive effect on protein turnover. I'd go with 10g post w/o.

If you do go with the bcaa's then use 10-20g.

2. I'd go with anything, even raws. they taste like shit though.
3. Yes, provided its pure.
4. I'd do this pre-workout. 7-20g
