hey forum buds.I would like to post my support supp check list and you can tell me if I have to much or to little.
Co q10
Niacin
fish oils
NAC vs milk thistle vs essentialle
aspirin
apple cider vinegar

Basically the supps are to keep blood pressure and cholesterol in-check...are any of those supps valid or just bogus claims?

1.what is better for liver support the NAC/milk thistle/essentialle?
2.are Dischem gold supps worth the money?(asked this question before actually)
3.anything that I'm missing or anything I can add?

thanx in advance.I know I'll get some decent feedback.

if everything in the world made sense, life would be senseless.

Hey G-man.

So good that you making sure all this is in check before you start your cycle! Thumbs up bru! ;)

Take milk thistle a month before you start your cycle and NOT during! Then take essential throughout your cycle. I take essential morning and night. And I'm using the Dis-chem brand. Same ingredients as the others. >> nothing wrong with it IMO.

The oils.. I always have flax oil, fish oil and evening primrose oil on hand. I take one serving of each in the morning and before bed. Flax oil I mix with shakes and use on veggies, salads etc.

My medical aid pays for all these sups.

Wait for the comments from the other guys, I'm not so sure on all of them.

In all honest they not ALL essentially needed. If your diet is clean and well balanced you won't really need to fork out the extra cash.
Don't get me wrong.....If you can afford it then by all means do it.
Personally I would use the cash on those items on more whey or BCAA's.
Last thing you want is to be swallowing 20 tabs in the morning. Lol
I keep it simple. Quality food, whey, BCAA's, creatine, L-glutamine , cod liver oil and flaxseed oil. That's it.

thanx for the feedback ...was hoping to get a little bit more but no such luck.@Ron I'll definately take your advice on the liver supp 'protocol' ...just curious why I can't use milk thistle while I'm 'on cycle' and are essentialle really that good for liver support?and yo T-style I hear what u saying about the diet etc,I just like to take extra precautionary measures to ensure my health on a cycle...I know steroids mess with the cholesterol and is known to create blood pressure in some....I just want to make sure my cycle goes smooth with no hassles.

Co q10 Good all round health supp. No effect on cholesterol and has a slight effect to decrease blood pressure although it is not reliable.

Niacin B-vits are awesome! But an excess of one will deplete the others or have a terrible effect on the body so it is better to supplement with either the full complex or only B12.

fish oils Only if you don't get enough from your diet.

NAC vs milk thistle vs essentialle All good. The Milk thistle and essentiale combo works particularly well together.

aspirin Excellent at reducing blood pressure!

apple cider vinegar Okay

I think they are okay. As with any supplement you need to be 1000% convinced that you need it otherwise don't buy.
3.anything that I'm missing or anything I can add? For your needs your master supplement should be garlic! Massive and reliable effects on both cholesterol as well as blood pressure.

thanx in advance.I know I'll get some decent feedback.

Have a look at this thread G-man.. Interesting..

I really like your outlook on 'safety' while on cycle. Good mindset to have bru! ;)

They are cheap and worked for me. I only swapped because I got all my supps at cost from a lady friend's dad.

Ron,thanks for your encouraging words....your a great motivation on this forum....yes I do this to get better ,not worse....so safety and precautionary measures are important to me.
so after the feedback I got,my 'arsenal' is going to look like this:

Garlic supps
vitamin B-complex
aspirin
Fish oils

and I'm going to use milk thistle prior to cycle then 'on cycle' I'm going to use NAC and essentialle(or generic brand).

That looks good to me bru. I like it!
Are you gonna run a Multi wit and Vitamin C? When I'm not on cycle I run a Multi Vit and Vit C one month on and one month off. While on cycle and in the winter months I run them throughout. My nutritional intake is very good. So could even be overkill. But I'm never sick, so I think it pays off.

I also run B12 combo [injectable] 1.5ml B complex and 1.5ml B12. Bummer is you now need a script! Hell knows why! My doc said its total BS. And she gave me a six month script. I have a jab like twice a month. Love the stuff! ;)

Bru, it's only a pleasure bud! What's life if you can't inspire yourself and others to be the best they can be and add a little value to a persons life. ;)

Awesome, krill oil is fantastic or pure omega-3s. You get enough omega 6 & 9s in already, I promise.

G-man wrote: ... aspirin ...

Be careful: aspirin is medication not a supplement, it's going to thin your blood and cause damage to your stomach lining.

G-man wrote: 2.are Dischem gold supps worth the money?(asked this question before actually)

Check quantity and concentrations per product. Cheap generic's are not to be looked down on necessarily and expensive brands aren't always the best.

What about a multi-vitamin with breakfast? Maybe half a tablet a day or 1 EOD.

If you take Aspirin once a day with food it is not going to wreck your stomache. My doc prescribes Aspirin as an alternative to patients with mild blood pressure deviations frequently and not once has anyone complained about their stomache lining. You will start with the adverse affects once you start taking them chronically at three times a day or more.

You should be taking the aspirin before bed as well. It's not nearly as effective at reducing blood pressure if taken in the morning or earlier in the day. Half an aspirin (150mg) is enough.
