Anybody care to elaborate on Melatonin dosage? I am looking for any natural means to improve sleep quality most nights I only manage 5-6hours of sleep due to life and work and family commitments so I have to make the most out of those 5/6hours. On the days that I can I aim for minimum 8 like we all should that's mostly on Saturday nights only cause Sundays I am usually off. Then Sunday nights I also try and hit the 8hours but Monday up at 4am and every morning. I love MK677 it really has made a world of difference here and in helping me recover and I have noticed muscle fullness and strength does differ significantly withe me on versus off so I put that down to nutrition partitioning. I am considering Melatonin but a friend also suggested I try Aces Labs Regent? Or to add HD Labs DHEA?

It is on you. It always has been...

You looking at the wrong type of meds for sleep. Non addictive agents, Leponex, Trazodone, Seroquel, Remeron, Phenergan.. There is a big misunderstanding about Melatonin and sleep, taking Melatonin doesn't fix a sleeping problem, you would need something like Agomelatine that is a melatonin agonist which re-syncs one's circadian rhythms, the meds I stated prior to this will knock you out, but Agomelatine will actually repair ones damaged sleep pattern.

Is it over the counter? And at what dosage should I take it?

They are not over the counter bar the Phenergan, but over the counter isn't a solution for a long term sleeping problem. You want to try resolve your sleeping problem as sleep is _everything_ for bodybuilding.

I use Agomelatine too and love the stuff! Along with melatonin agonism it is a damn good dopamine agonist.

Yes, you simply tell him you don't want to use sleeping pills and you would like to restore your bodies natural sleep pattern and you heard Valdoxane can do this with little to no side effects and without having to take something addictive.

Normally 25mg, then two hours later if I'm not down I take another 25mg.

@RooiBul: Should be easy just follow Pump's advice.

Hi 00Pump and Pyroclasm.

I finally got to speaking to my Doc about Valdoxane and I got a a month Prescription. Do I need to take it that long or will my sleeping pattern reset quicker than that. Or rather is it safe to take that long?

It will need to repair your circadian rhythms, and this could take even longer.. It is not a 'sleeping pill'.

Okay cool thanks Pump.

My Doc is actually a lady she did say to please come and tell her monthly how I feel and that she doesn't have a problem with re prescribing again next year as the one she gave me today is for 6months.

Really thank you so much for all your advice and input and help I wish I could buy you a bottle of Jameson.

Interesting thread. Geez my doctors never told me about those options, thanks 00pump! This might be the solution to my own issues (chronic insomnia).

Sterkte RooiBul, keep us updated.

You must check your liver values but nothing has ever been elevated on mine.AND I probably have the worst kidneys on the site and no further damage what so ever.

Thanks for the reply.

She did send me for bloods yesterday and did the kidney and liver tests.

She knows I have used Oral Winstrol and Anavar in the past and she knows that on PCT I take Clomid and Nolvadex. She said with me being tested before and after those and never having issues as I don't use alcohol really well maybe 8 drinks a year and not using pain killers she also doesn't see any problems but she will keep testing it every 2 or 3 months just to be safe and keep an eye on it.

She told me she looked at various studies before she started prescribing it to patients and according to her the Package Leaflet and other internet sources over exaggerate the kidney and liver damage. She says according to all the studies she read the cases where there were raised values were like 2% or less and were there was damage 4 cases she knows of were people that admitted heavy alcohol consumption and one of them was an alcoholic.

She seems to have done her homework. And yup, nothing to be worried about unless you abuse your body. Like I said I've had no increase in any of my values.

Did you take it last night, right before bed? Did you sleep better/ changes in your dreams?

I took it as I got into bed.

I felt a weird but good sensation a few minutes later in the front of my brain.

Were I normally take long to fall a sleep and then when I do I wake 3-4 times a night either to pee or just wake up. Last night I had to get up once to pee which according to me is normal and how it should be. I had no problem falling right back to sleep. I was just out hey, did not dream, had real nice sleep first time in a long time and feel good today relaxed. Can't wait to see how tonight's sleep and the rest of the week goes
