Would it help with natural GH release even if you're on  a little extra?

Guys, I have been using GABAtropin(Solal Tech) for the last two weeks(1 capsule half hour before sleep) together with Ni-agra(PNS). Before I used GABAtropin I suffered from insomnia for years and used all brands of sleeping and calming pills. Now I don't take anything for insomnia and sleep deeper and better. Don't know if it's my imagination but my strength also increased. :sleeping

North_Boy I have not really paid any attention to GABA but what is its actual properties? What is it good for ? Why would I use it? And what dose?

A friend of mine got off benzos by going onto GABAtropin, but then suffered severe withdrawal symptoms when he tried to stop the GABAtropin.

But does that not mean ordinary GABA is better for that exact reason?

Orally ingested GABA does not cross the blood brain barrier, to increase brain GABA which would increase GH - Scientific Fact.

Alright I don't use GABA, so I don't know much about it. Here are two questions...
1. If once GABA is taken up through the gut and into the blood stream (which it inevitably is), and once it has joined all the other naturally produced GABA in the blood, why is it that only the endogenous GABA would act to raise GH and not the exogenous GABA?
2. Are the effects of GABA on GH mediated by GABA itself or by its convertion to GHB?

I understand the rates are far lower but from what I have found the GHB --> SSA --> GABA reaction is in fact reversible and thus in excess GABA could form GHB.GABA, it doesn't convert to GHB.
O.k. yes, most of the GABA in the body is originally produced in the brain (but also in other tissues). But I can't find any papers talking about the inability of GABA to enter the brain from blood, or the modification (such as in gabatropin) that negates this.Endogenous GABA is found in the brain, and the exogenous GABA is in the body. The blood brain barrier won't allow the endogenous into the brain to raise GH.
