oh yeah, those bcaa's are evil tasting. Creatine and glutamine i can just munch no prob but the bcaa's look like flipping asbestos shavings and taste worst.

Hmmm, i been thinking about just buying some nesquick, not too worried about extra calories, i couldnt seem to put fat on if i tried. i do confess to eating everything and anything i want, whenever i want, and never have put on a bad kilo.

You bastard!!

Diet for me is just eating more of the good stuff, more protein and clean carbs, but any calories work for me... Hell im gonna suffer when dieting down for kzn novice!!

Just to ask, i been mixing my whey with milk, full crram milk (i cant tolerate any other)... How bad? I really really love my full cream milk... :(

Anyone else notice how yum delicious the amino stack tabs taste?? Sometimes i consider sucking them for a bit...

Also noticed it-how can it taste so different from the BCAA's?

It could be a sugary filler used to bind the tabs together, this is common.
Also, it could be the amino acid content... BCAA's are generally bland tasting and urghy, while other amino acids like glycine and alanine can be a little sweet. Take a huge spoon of glutamine for instance, its not great, but there is a slight sweet taste there no?

Sorry if I offend you
Its just my point of view

@bbguy - The reason i said cinnamon is good post workout is because it enhance insulin sensitivity, which increases the rate at which nutrients are absorbed by the muscle cells. This is more important for diabetics who have difficulty with insulin sensitivity.

I have been taking the WAR raw protein for a couple of months now an am so used to it that it tastes really good.
I had the BCAA powder in the shake a few times, nothing you add to it can get rid if the taste, had to get the rest of the powder capped before I could take any more.

Tiny, I tried the cinnamon in the shake, not bad at all, kinda like it. Thanks for the tip

I have lots of ideas. Trouble is, most of them suck.

For the BCAA's, I started mixing it with Fizz C 1000 vitamin c effervescant tabs (dischem). Put it in shaker with vit c and water. Once vit c dissolved, shake the shit out of it. Not bad actually, can barely taste the BCAA's.

You are right it does contain a Amino blend but as Inja said they dont all taste the same. There is also a bunch of other stuff in it VitC, B12, B6 ect. I asked the manufacturer to used a sweet binder (like Inja mentioned) after all the bad taste chirps about the BCAA.

Glad you like the taste!
