Athro Guard, takes about 2weeks to kick in and does work well. I think it is about R130.00 or so at your nearest chemist. Glocosamine sulphate and msm with something else, atleast 3 tabs a day.

Arthroguard Intensive is the best I've tried so far, it really does work.
I use 3 a day for a month and now I maintain at 1 a day, even if I hurt a joint now, its not sore for more than a day :)

I have tried 3 or 4 others as well...

Some of the other guys might have some good experiences by using the raw ingredients at high doses as well

Dream BIG, one Rep at a time.

I've found the most beneficial thing for me is hands down NPP. Add that to your cycle and you will notice a huge difference with joint issues. I've tried the other OTC stuff and they do work to an extent, but NPP you feel like a new man within a couple of weeks and the effects seem to last long after the cycle is over-quite a few months before you notice the twinges and familiar aches and pains starting to come back.

i found SOLGAR - Extra strenght Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM

to be good. Its quite expensive (R265)at any Health shop but trust me its cutting edge stuff - works like a bomb. I also had problems with shoulder due to heavy weights. After being a week on this its normal.

I've been using arthroguard for about six weeks now to help my elbows and wrists. I've had knee problems for years that stop me from training legs but its helping my knees as well and i can now train legs, definately works well. At some places, clicks, they have a buy one get one free promotion so you get 180 caps in total for around R140

Roozer - another cheap alternative that worked for me and a suggestion from DJ is to take 3 X 3 Caps of Fish Oil(Dischem Omega3) per day. I suffered heavy with joint pain and rotator cuff problems and now after taking it for a month the pain is gone. Also get your EFA's up (Yellow top Black Cat PButter, olive oil, mac oil, ect.)

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

Should have specified-yup NPP is short ester deca. I figured seen as you're going on cycle in 2 weeks would be a good thing to add. Made the world of difference to my joints.

All the suggestions above works well. I take MSM as a std every day at 5g/day. Its a natural anti inflammatory and will aid in recovery after excercise as well. If you suffer from allergies it eases that as well. Its cheap, R30/100g.

I don't like deca because it has such a long half life and is so suppressive. NPP is a phenylprop ester, it's still quite suppressive, but not as bad as deca because of the short half life and you can run short cycles with it and get the benefits, whereas deca anything under 12 weeks is a waste.
Definitely the best thing I've ever used for joint pain. Even with winny, I don't get joint pain on NPP, and without it, my elbows are crippling within a week of being on winny.

Just remember that anti-flam of any kind will hinder muscle growth.

I use Cissus Q from supplements SA. You can even do some research on the net on "Cissus quadrangularis" better than MSM and glucosamine

Dont know if any good but Im using an Omega 3-6-9 Tab.1000mg each per day. Take 3 a day but have been for awhile and dont think Ive had many aches and pains from joints in a while.

Except the odd Scapular pain on my right side that is...
