In a recent thread we discussed pre workout sups. I've read up on some during and post workout sups that looks interesting.

What do you guys think about vpx power shock as a during workout sup? It basically is a bcaa-nitrate drink. Looks cool. A other option would be to take plain waxymaize (ON glycomaize) and just add ur own bcaa.

For post training i always just use whey with glutamine. Has anybody tried vpx synthesize (think that is the name)?

Just wanting to try something diff. Thus looking at a pre, during and post training supp. Or maybe its just necessary for a pre and post. I hear NO shotgun/synthesize as a pre and post is a good combination. Anybody?

Fakey i assume u using it during workout? Would you prefer this over plain bcaa's?

What's ur take on the no shotgun and synthesize combo as pre/post workout sups? Looks like essentially its the same except that synthesize dont have the energy boosters. Just seems little overkill to consume same thing post workout. Surely you would need more protein

yeah using during workout. The thing is i like my stuff to taste great especially if im gonna sip on it while im training. Post workout doesn't bother me to much in the taste department as i can just quickly down alles.

Haven't tried there pre and post workout combo but if its the same than yeah, i think its a waste.


oh yeah u also need to take some carbs post training and thats got no carbs.

yes the vpx power shock is a great product then you should also try scivation xtend you will be very happy with it :)

Vitargo Aftershock is my suggestion, whey isolate which is premium protein imo and Vitargo carbs for glycogen restoration plus you get some anti-catabolic goodies. Have not tried any other during/post supp other than cytomaize from ssn. I didnt like that though.
