To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

If there is anything that needs to be corrected and if there is anyone more knowledgeable on the issue then I am, which I have come to note that MA generally is, then I would really appreciate being corrected as it would better aid my understanding of the use of AAS and thus be able to formulate better cycles for myself and also aid in giving others advice where I see fit. My answer to this post was not to incite some dick-swinging contest or to claim to be a complete expert on issues relating to the human endocrine system. I merely formulated the response as a means of highlighting the fact that natural test production was not as simple as our testes are either producing it or they not, but rather that it was a complex process which is subject to proper function of various hormonal glands.
If I am coming cross as being overly sensitive, then please forgive me. Ive around 100mg of tren ace working through my system and I have been utterly miserable for the past 48 hours.
Nah my man your posts are interesting. For someone relatively new to the forum your information is very close to the truth if not the truth, which is rare especially if you see some of the know-it-alls that come on here spitting bro science left and right. Not naming any names

Hahaha  Yea I actually started replying to this topic yesterday but then thought fuggit :pinch: cause I've been over it so many times.
But yea, the reason tapering helped the oldschool guys is because slowly reducing your test dosage prevented being stuck with ultra high estrogen levels that you'd have when suddenly stopping a high dose of test vs say 200mg/week test, which would also delay recovery even more and make you feel more depro. Other than that you are just as shut down on 1000mg/week as you are on 200mg/week and your balls will atrophy either way.
In an old study a group of guys were given a relatively low dose of Test E (250mg/week) for 21 weeks and were monitored for 4 months after the last injection with regular blood work and they did no PCT. Even after 4 months their testosterone levels had not yet recovered totally to precycle levels. So even a very low dose of only 250mg/week needs PCT! I think 90% of us get that these days.

Thanks pyro and chapel; all i can say is that i am very thankful to be a member of this board. Been on a few international boards before finding this one and i can tell you that the advice was laughable. There were times where even senior members of the forum were advising people to take finasteride to combat possible hairloss off a tren cycle..yes, that is the level of stupidity that is out there. But seriously, most of the frequent users of this board are always there to provide solid advice and assistance and i have learnt so much from all you guys and hoped that i was able to assist anyone else through my posts...anyway, enough of this hormonal rambling.
ive had a bad testen300 inject yesterday and i swear it feels like there is a banana sized lump under my skin. Lunges gaan my lekker laat kak vandag.

gorilla wrote: Whats the chances of getting permanent shutdown when you live on test for 4-5 months like some guys do?
I think the main issue with long cycles mate is to ensure that you are running HCG at a decent dosage for the duration of your cycle and right up until the start ur pct. It will definitely aid in making your pct much smoother as you wont inhibit normal testicular function and you wont see a decrease in the testosterone producing leydig cells. On longer test-based cycles it will also probably be advisable to run an AI for the duration of the cycle as this will not only keep estrogen at bay but the prescence of an AI also aids in stimulating the pituitary gland to produce LH normally.
Hope this helps
