Im with hoosain on this one, I did a 20 week cycle of test e, eq and anavar. After 6 weeks my glutes were really starting to get sore so I added my quads in and rotated between quads 1 week and glutes next and so forth. I used a 23g 1.5 inch needle which is too long for the quad so I only put it in 3/4 of the way. I find that injecting the quads are sooooo much easier than the glutes and hardly any pipHoosain wrote: hey buddy, maybe consider trying the quad pin?
i find it virtually painless. i also feel it's easier to pin since you don't have to turn to any awkward positions and you can clearly see what you are doing.
aspiration is also easier as well as slowly injecting (which i find helps). i do it in a seated position and i'm quite comfortable.
my quads are also quite lean so a 1" needle works quite fine and no need to struggle with a longer needle going all the way.
finally... you are able to sit absolutely still and use both hands with ease while pinning and pulling the needle out.
one of my dogs came running towards me once as i was finishing up and i rushed to get the needle out. lets just say it can be a bit painful when you are not pulling it out straight and doing it in a rush.
