your body can def only absorb a specific ammount of protein, but 34 grams I don't believe is it.

I'm pretty sure it's only around 34g hey, but if it is, how can someone of a descent size possibly take in and absorb the required amount of protein in a day considering you only eat 7-8 times a day?

in general its around 40 grams, but there are many reasons for this to change. also you can train your body to absorb more protein by producing more proteases.

but what im getting at is your body can abosrb just about all the protein you consume but its what your muscles can do with the protein that is the issue as they can only abosrb a specific ammount. hence using extreme ammounts of protein is not allways a bright idea as you don't need HUGE AMMOUNTS of protein to stay anabolic, you just need constant protein, eg well timed meals, not huge ammounts at each meal.

but remeber when one starts to use AAS your body goes into overdrive and you will abosrb more protein.. also, when you start using slin it will change this limit too.

ps, don't expect a 80/90kg bodybuilder to be able to absorb the same as a 120/130kg bodybuilder.. thats where people get miss guided.. your size has allot to do with it and how much muscle you have.

I agree with you completely there, but say you need to take in roughly 1500 calories/day.
that amounts to 375g of protein, devide that by an average of 6 meals and you discover you need to take in 60g of protein per meal which isn't possible?

well its possible to consume, you not getting me... if you consume 60 grams of protein, your body will digest that... don't expect your muscles to abosrb 60 grams of protein, it will be used for 'energy' in the body rather than for protein synthesis. the same thing will happen if you don't abosrb enough carbs your body will use more of the protein you consume for 'fuel' rather than for muscle growth... but your body will still feel weak and tired if you are not absorbing carbs regardless of your bodys ability to use protein for energy.

OOOOOOOH alright I think I just saw the light.
so you're body will absorb the protein but the amount you're muscles will use is pretty much dependant on the demand for protein?

exactly.. eg: think of receptors as little hands grabing at amino acids... when you on juice they work overtime consuming huge ammounts of amino acids.. when you come off gear and your body is not 'highly anabolic' your receptors have a break and abosrb allot slower.

hence the reason they say you need a 'high colorie diet' when on juice for it to be effective.. yes you can use juice for other things if you change your diet, low calorie diet with substances that are deriviates of DHT could be used to harden up / cut, etc... or using androgens but with highly suppressed estrogen levels.

Guys, I am struck out. I tore all my ligaments in my left ankle on the weekend-I am so depressed. all my hard work, dieting, training, changing my lifestyle, and for what? To be out for six weeks? I am determined to not let it get to me, but I need help please guys, advise, supplements to use, a change in diet, whatever; I need to keep my gains and what I have achieved. Should I consider using something to help heal the ligaments quicker? Deca?

hey bro don't worry about it these things happen :)
keep to you're diet but restrict calories based on you're activity level.
also look up on a supplement called cissus quadrangularis, I think it might be beneficial to you right now.
otherwise keep the glutamine high and if you're still able to train upper body then do it :)

its only a ankle. You can still train. I trained mildly and certain excercises when my bicep was torn. Its not the end of the world wrap the ankle and get your ass into the gym. There is nothing wrong with your upperbody

all i can say is your body can absorb alot of protein do u honestly think the mr olypians only eat 400g of protein a day? not a fuck, i read online a while back that phil heath during his olympia prep is eating just under 700g of protein a day... look at gary strydom, he eats over 8000calories a day,he goes through a box of iso pro protien a DAY...and thats not including the vitargo and other meals of the day. if your body can handle it u can up that protein to 80g 7-8 times day, its all depending on what your body can handle...

ouch 700 gs of proteins? that would be like 1.2 kgs of steak daily just for protein. Surely that must RAPE the kidneys nicely

exactly, its what you train your body to absorb... but the bottom line is you need juice for it work those wonders... not a fsck are you absorbing 80grams of protein for muscle growth without it or you might as welll not even take juice...

Rest the ankle or you'll make it worse. Train the muscle groups accordingly and as said above adjust cals for your new activity levels. Lower calories for less activity.

Stick to a good clean healthy diet and you wont lose to much muscle or gain any fat!

I am, and will train my upper body for the next couple of weeks. It is just so demotivating because all my progress on my legs that I have made up until now will be lost. It makes me truly bleak because I have been pouring my guts out into this whole lifestyle. Guys, how do you keep motivated. I definitely need a boost right now...

sorry, didn't want to open a new thread for this... hmm, so many people say use Clen as it makes you anabolic, etc... however from what I read this is not true as the amount of clen you would need to take would probably end you up in hospital with a minor heart attack. so is it safe to say that we take this idea out of our heads and actually agree this is not the case or am i missing something?

I came up with the same thing in my own research.
I don't believe it keeps you in an anabolic state for the reason mentioned above.
just another "idea" that has been repeated so many times it's now taken as a fact by most people
