Carb Counting was created by Headhunter12
I've never been big into counting cals/carbs n stuff! Even n MMA I would just barely eat to loose the weight I needed... Can u guys tell me if theres some sticky's or threads on here to get that incite! If I'm gonna do this, I wanna do it right and not set up for failure!!!

Plus before I use an oral roid or bulk, I think I wanna learn how to diet and cut up/shred myself! To do this I need to learn to watch n count my carb and fat intake... Thanks for any pointers!!!!!

I've read them and understand most of it... Everyone says the 40/40/20 ratio is best but how do I get those ratios... Like what do I do? Look at the back of everything I eat n drink and add it all up and guesstimate what I need?

So I'm need to be focusing on;
Protein
Calories
Carbohydrate ???

A) Go grab yourself a decent food scale.
B) Figure out what you daily needs are for calories, carbs, fats and protein.
C) Setup an account on myfitnesspal or some other calorie journal website.

It sounds like a mission at first but it becomes routine to weigh everything first and it really just takes an extra minute. Eventually you'll have good idea of how much of what is in anything you eat without having to look it up.

EDIT: If you don't feeling doing the formulas to figure out how much food you need then just visit this link.
www.1percentedge.com/ifcalc/

It was made for the intermittent fasting okes but it works for anything. Just punch in your stats and preferred ratios etc. You can play around with it to suit you.

Read through ALL the dieting sticky's, you'll have a better understanding of dieting, how to create a diet and how much calories and etc you need a day for your goals.

Ok... I read "Enter the Zone" dietary rode map or 75% of it... And it says when choosing a meal, meat should be no bigger than the palm of ur hand, and greens should be about the size of all ur fingers and fats around the same... Could I go by this?

And do I need to buy a small scale? For weighing meats n such?
And I hear good things about olive oil, for healthy fats with a meal of say;

6oz of chicken
4oz of green beans
And 2 teaspoons of olive oil be good?
Before I was eating like 6 green olives for fat! Good?

This is quick n has been my diet meal twice a day for a while!
I wake up:
7 am - eat 3 eggs and half a pack of oatmeal
9 am - drink protein shake
12 pm - eat the meal described above
3 pm - pre workout/protein shake after
7 pm - eat supper, described above or tuna
And 2 big teaspoons before bed!!
Is this ok or do I need to revamp my plan!!!

No you are not on keto because you are eating carbs every day like the oatmeal. Your diet needs a lot of work bro!

What is your goal bro? Just to loose a little bf? I don't think you need to do keto. You need to do carb cycling and implement some cardio for extra calories burnt. Structure meals in this fashion:
Training days
1)Protein and carbs
2)protein and fat
3)protein and fat
4)protein and fat
5)pre work out - oats and raisins
6)post work out - shake
7)protein and carbs
8)protein and fats - pre bed

Non training days
1-3 protein and carbs
4-7 protein and fats

Don't mix carbs and fats in one meal and no fats in or around your training time.

I just wanna teach myself how to diet like a bb.. In time, learning what my body can take and basically getting a feel of myself!!
After I learn to cut n keep my diet under controll I'd like to get up around 180-185lb lean with under 10% bf
And fats could I do olive oil? But how much at a meal placing? Don't want to eat much of it...

You can do olive oil, 1 table spoon should be sufficient but look at nuts and peanut butter for other fat sources as these are high in protein as well.

Cool, so chicken and greens beans is a protein and carb
And chicken and oil/peanut butter is a protein and fat... Correct?

Veg isn't really high in carbs so it won't really count. Look at potatoes, rice, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, pasta's for carb sources but yes you getting the idea.

Yeah that seems very high for your weight vs length. Would you say you have a reasonable amount of muscle or are you a scrawny little shit?

Haha relax bud I was not asking if you could enter a BB comp one of these days. Just asking whether there is some muscle present. So I would def say that your BF% should be lower. Why don't you post up a pic for us then we can give you a fairly accurate guess? 23% is pretty high and fat bro.
