ok so i have been lurking on here for years, used to be a main member here on the forum for a long time under the name DJ.

any way seeing we all got time on our hands i thought i would just give up some insight behind a comp prep i did last year.

ok so i have been battling depression and been through some shit in my time, divorce, alcoholic girlfriend, a whole bunch of other shit that goes on with that too but this isn't a time for that shit.

so in December 2018 at an unhappy 108kgs i just decided to diet down to look good again, i was doing a 4 day upper lower split, and then started my calories at 2600 daily. i have been doing TRT and just stuck at it.

in September 2019 i had dieted down quite a bit, down to i think 94kgs, still getting stronger, and i was at natal champs, someone asked me when i was gonna compete again , and i said never. They were shocked, any way , i went home and took some pics and saw that i was 6 weeks out from the gentle giant, and was in pretty decent shape. so i changed my training a bit. Full body 5x a week, calories went down to 2200 Monday to Saturday an then Skiploaded (google my friends) to about 5000 to 7000 calories once a week. to be honest i had been Skiploading for the whole time, but not that drastic, i pushed the loads harder due to workouts being longer and demanding.

i kept sodium high at 20g of salt added daily. i did Intermittent fasting, i did about 6 cardio sessions and then my strength suffered so i stopped. calories like i said were no lower than 2200. sleep was ok, CBD did help here.

PEDS :
6 weeks out i added 30mg winstrol, 30mg anavar daily, and added 200mg Masteron e to my weekly 180mg test cyp trt. fatburners i used a product called dermotone for site-specific fat loss and then my main burner of choice was 2mg of albuterol and 200mg caffeine 2x daily. the albuterol dose went up by 2mg every week leading into the show, and then the week before the show i dropped the fatburners completely. i was using 1000mg Glucophage XR daily up until a week out, i find i cant full out on either fatburners at high dose or Glucophage.

water intake was still 6l the day before the show, salt still 20g, i weighed in at 88kgs 3 kgs under my cut off, and then carbed up the night before. 00pump joined me for dinner. my carb up consisted of the following. 2 boxes of future life granola bars, 250g gummy sweets, 2 hudsons burgers and 3 portions of chips, 500ml of cranberry juice with 3 shots of vodka, 1 full spar lemon meringue pie, 15 hash Browns, 6 full eggs, 6 sausage, 4 reeces peanut butter cups, 2 energades, 100g jelly babies, and a roccomammas burger. that was all from 6pm the Friday night till Saturday 10am. i did cut back on a bit to much fluid, but hey. i weighed in at the venue the morning of the show at 92kgs. 5kgs up.

any way here are some before and afters of basically 10 months of dieting, and only 6 weeks of serious dieting.

Nicely done Empire, I forgot to post these pics. You really are able to pull things off when you put your head into it. Those cravings you where having and still cooking for others and having the discipline to not cheat is mind blowing. And not to miss a leg day either, power to you! And then to place the way you did after you started this all without any thought of competing, you kept getting harder and dryer and then boom :lol:

couldn't do it without guys like you in my corner, great support the whole time.. and was the best being able to eat a fuckload before the show with you haha!!

beating the SA overall champion was fun though haha

I couldn't believe how much you ate on the night before the show. Those photos are one thing but to see you skin so low a caliper couldn't measure.. And then afterwards to go back and eat that whole cake what was it apple crumble, I forgot?

Ah was a pleasure to be there brow, but you did turn into a ghost, not a drop of fat on that frame and you came on exactly where you wanted to be. What a vision!

lemon meringue pie. a whole one at that! maybe same again next year, slide into the shows and make people wonder.

Do you mind me asking what lab of anavar and winstrol you used?

sure, of course, I used UPA Anavar and winstrol. then Pfizer depotest UPA masteron E.

I went from 150KG Obese 40% Body Fat at 1,68cm I am now able to maintain and manage my body fat. I am now always between 100 and 110kg at 12 to 15% Body Fat. Your dieting advice and stickies helped me loads and Furk and Pyroclasm also helped me loads.

Empire is full of knowledge and I run most things past him. Always nice to bounce ideas off even if you 80% on the right track. I share all my bloods with him, discuss Endo consultations and and and. Nice to have him active on the forum again. Even if its to discuss the same point we have a 1000 times :lol:

Yes pump I’ve read that you guys are good friends. Haven’t spoken to him on the forum, think I arrived just after he left. I am however familiar with his wealth of knowledge and I’m sure you’ve seen me share links to his threads quite often.
I always get upset that I found this place too late. Wish I were around at the time when people good arrange meets and PM each other for advice. At the same time I also get exactly where admin is coming from.

@dj don’t worry I think I’ll find you on the socials. When I do I’m pretty sure you’ll know it’s me as well.

Last thing to touch on, pump mentioned even if it’s to discuss things you’ve discussed 1000 times. I do the same with my buddies. Even on this forum I’ve constantly come back to read things again and again... and again. Sometimes we already know the answers but get that extra bit that we never realized was there before... in your case the company is also something I can only imagine as being awesome. So yes I’d probably be in the same boat lol.

There is a good few guys on this forum i have had the privilege of meeting, and working with and there are good few guys that also gave tons of good info.

MxT, Batman,Conan, Muscle Addict,Doctari, Netro, Admin. They all started me on this journey on here.


There have been a hell of a lot of frauds up here too, if people saw what these people look like in real life you would question if they even trained let alone why they are giving out information. i remember working with one of the "mods" here that told me that creatine was giving him stretch marks, meanwhile, he was skinny fat, i looked at his profile on FB the other day and clearly being a vegan crossfitter has become his new hobby cos he is just as tiny as ever yet i see the posts on her, and think if people only know.

oh and we can't forget the infamous Jakes hahaha there used to be a guy on here who i was the best man at his wedding and he was a groomsman at mine, that the only reason i will go to his funeral is to make sure he is dead and to piss on his coffin.

i have got some great friends from here, Pump is an amazing guy and has an amazing family Ogre that used to be on here is another one. Rhino, Etwa are also amazing friends I met from being on here, so there are really a lot of good guys here.

unfortunately, with illicit trade and identities being exposed, i can understand why we cant have a private message system, but i openly offer anyone if they know who i am on social media to drop me a message and i will help as much as i can, if not drop me some questions and i will be sure to answer to the best of my knowledge.
