They say the sweeteners make you pick up weight as it stimulates your appetite, so directly speaking it shouldn't make you pick up weight. There is practically no calories in diet cold drinks so i say go ahead and have one.. but now I want bubbles too

Screw it. I will wait for my cheat meal on Sunday rather.

Never fraternize with them as equals, never accept them as your social equals or they will devour you, they will destroy you.

Looks like all we need on the site now is a reliable biltong supplier ;-)

Give it a shot, you're only TESTing it...

no need to hunt.

Get yourself some big pieces of meat, (here on the west rand a place called Bulkpack sells good cuts of meat)

And spice and cure it yourself, cool thing is you can make the cuts however you want. I will post a biltong recipe on here a little later today.

Takes like 2 weeks in decent weather to get a good piece of biltong, but if you do a few pieces then you can snack for ages.

TV snack list myself (even though dont eat in front of tv much)

Biltong
Cottage cheese and carrots/celery

and to drink, that low cal Lecol lime squash mix....not the greatest tasting, but its better than boring water.

Beef is one THE best sources of protein and it contains good amounts of creatine too,the problem with biltong is the high salt content, especially if you are prone to Edema(water-retension),it will help stack on the water. Also bad too eat too much of it on a cycle because all that salt intake will help screw up the high blood pressure.

I buy all my meat (silver side) that I make biltong with there. It works out to about R250 per 5kgs of biltong if you make it yourself.

One of my friends built a home made dryer and it takes max 5 days per batch.

I found a nice snack the other night.

Chicken strips + cottage cheese
