You don't need the international one. Your SA one is all you need and you can exchange it when you're there.

I whatsapped my mate to ask. Not getting a response but I'll post when I get a reply.

When you get to Germany you can just go to the local traffic dept office and they will sort it out.

I have lived and travelled there a few times as I am a citizen..

Before you go , go to the Goethe institute for some lessons.. Google them..

It will help you in the long run , rather than going there and not being able to get around...

@Acidkid: I am gonna stay in a "plaasdorpie" so I will need a car. Since I am single am gonna splash a bit on a car. Rent isn't that bad at all hey.
