you guys are missing the point. If its a hormonal imbalance in the body shouldnt we be looking to fix that instead of touching accutane. If the cause is chemical imbalance then he should be working on fixing the balance and eliminating excess hormones or increasing whatever is low. Once again what bloods should i send him to do exactly?

90% of the time it is not an ongoing hormone thing. The hormones may have triggered the oil gland beneath the skin to get out of control but that would be the trigger.
Creams and washing aint gonna do sh!t to get rid of it as it is beneath the skin. I never had a problem with acne before. I did a cycle and after my cycle the acne started, and that was over a year ago.
I have begun a Roacutane course, low dosage, 1 tablet a day , 5 days a weeks, I don’t take on weekends, will do a 10 week course.
It will bring the oil glands back under control.

I would advice going to see a dermatologist about it cos he will know what to do and will not cost an arm and a leg either.

I have lots of ideas. Trouble is, most of them suck.

i have used and still using doxyciline and it works well... i heard that the spots come from having too much estrogen in the body ? how did ur mate react to his course of gear .. if he exploded and held body fat he has high levels of estrogen in his body naturally and this could be causing the spots. I used proviron during one of my course and my skin actually got better .. once is stopped the spots came. I spoke to a guy the another day who has low low levels of estrogen in his body and when he gears he never gets spots but never explods while on gear just gets lean no matter what he takes ... estrogen levels may be the culprit

He did go to a dermotologist and was advised to be put on Roaccutane for 3 months. He did not want to take roaccutane and i cant blame him. he is on a months cousre of metronidazole which seems to be helping but if it will actually clear the spots completely and keep them away is another question. Some guys are just ulucky i dont think my mate will ever take gear again.

I think we should start a thread and ask people if they suffer from pimples or from gyno or from both. There might be a link between these 2 things.I just rekon it's just a good poll.

I used it and it was hell it makes your joints dry up and you feel like shit.Your lips become dry and cracked. You also burn very easily when in the sun for any peroid of time.N.B.especially if you're white.Oh and lastly it makes white people turn into red people.

This stuff was the worst medicine i have ever been on.

Lesa hmm, my sister suffered bad with Acne and she was on roaccutane, it did clear up her skin nicely, left a flew blemishes, etc but it worked well. The problem was she couldn't go in the sun (EVER) as it hurts and causes further blemishing. There was an article writen about Acne before and I specified a product she was using, which was more natural and doesn't have any of the nasty sides. I can tell you her skin is clear and looks good.

When going on roaccutane you must whey up the pros and the cons and decide wheather or not the juice is worth the squeze.
