We often receive queries on our product quality, efficacy and formulations. This has been a recurring cycle of abuse from independent individuals who believe that they have a profound knowledge of the industry, the MCC regulations, GMP, product development, packaging and ultimately the delivery of the product to the end user.
The ‘universal mark’ in the company’s logo is symbolic of global scientific findings and the latest clinical research that inspires our scientists to produce state-of-the-art product formulations. Raw materials are sourced from around the world, and then mixed in pharmaceutical laboratories (Europe, Australia and South Africa) according to formulae developed by USN's global team of scientists.
Underpinning the USN message is a concentration on ethics and honesty, so that consumers are properly educated about which products to use and how to use them. As a result, USN has very quickly built a loyal customer base, which inherently trusts the products to help them achieve their goals.
At USN we aim to provide world class nutritional supplements with the highest possible quality. USN products are being manufactured according to stringent GMP and MCC regulations and therefore proactive steps are taken to ensure that our products are safe, pure, and effective.
As part of this system, hundreds of laboratory tests are being performed on a monthly basis to ensure that ingredients used in products
* Comply with suppliers’ Certificates of Analyses
* Comply with microbiological standards
* Are pure and free from contaminants (including banned substances)
In addition, independent SANAS Accredited Laboratory tests are performed on a monthly basis to ensure that the final USN products are in accordance with labelled quantities. We use independent laboratories to perform over 2000 tests per annum on raw materials and final product.
Our qualified R&D team works closely with international pharmaceutical companies to ensure that:
* Formulations are inspired by the latest research
* Products meet all label claims
* Product labelling adheres to the applicable Labelling Regulations
In addition we have established working relationships with ESSNA (European Specialised Sports Nutrition Alliance), SAIDS (South African Institute for Drug Free Sport) as well as the University of the Free State to further assist us in product development and testing. We believe in going beyond what is expected of any player in this industry.
Individuals who claim to have the product testing analysis sheets are more than welcome to enter into discussion with us. Our business is transparent, and we work diligently towards delivering a premium product to the end-user.
None of our retail partners or the relative authorities who govern what we do would want to associate themselves with a brand or range of products that do not conform to the legislation around the industry.
