BSSA

Hi Guys.

Quick simple question - how quick is the turn around time for orders from BSSA? I know Ondier does this in his spare time as a favour to people...? Sent an e-mail...but still have not heard anything regarding stock levels?

I know folks here use him, so any info would be appreciated.

There are strikes at the moment.

I've also been wondering if BSSA's service has improved lately because the products were good but stock and delivery times were unreliable. According to his site Ondier has hired someone to manage the business so hopefully things are better.

Have not heard a peep via e-mail in over a week.

Will give them a skip untill I heard something a bit more possitive.

Anyone else heard anything from BSSA lately?

So for now going with BasicSupplements. Best price on Protein Isolate I can currently find.

Last 3 order went through www.basicsupplements.co.za/contact and withing 2/3 days I got goods

When did you last order?

Just asking because of the trike at the postal offices up in Gauteng...Heard things are moving again...but will just have to wait and see.

I agree, after having gone through the BSSA thread and seeing all the delays, I could never bring myself to order despite wanting to support a forum member.

I have used basicsupplements.co.za a few times now and they are very reliable and their products are good.
1 scoop mass gainer = 1 and 1/2 whey is a dream

Just don't expect them to have any products other than protein

I am still waiting for my order from 31 August. Haven't gotten any replies from them in a while. Sent them a snotty email today to ask for a refund and to say I will NEVER use them again!

Will give their Isolate and creatine a bash along with dextrose.

Their "mass gainer" sure is damn good value for money! 77% protein and only 8g carbs! in 100g @ a DAMN fine price...

They promised multiple times to replace a almost expired product delivered around three months after I ordered it (ordered in May). Gave up asking, it was only 200-300 anyway.

Because of that, I stopped supporting them, I also recommended them to MANY people, who have now also stopped using them. So their loss. And if anyone asks, I tell them they're crap.

I can handle delays, but not the constant bad service.

Okay its all good and well to express that you had a bad run in with them, but to call them crap on here is bull.. He is an old forum member and a lot of people respect him on here so by all means give them a bad review if that is your experience but lets not be calling them crap openly on here, to your mates by all means, but its not fair to do that on the forum.

Didn't you say the essence of a forum is everyone expressing their opinions no matter how shit they might be? If the dude wants to call them crap then let him. It's his opinion.

@xrapidx: In my experience their customer service is top notch. Janet has always gone out of her way to accommodate me and make sure I am happy. BSSA's main problem is their logistics, especially the bunch of dingleberries that call themselves 'CourierIT'. I want to support Ondier all the way and I used to but you can only give them so many chances... It's such a pity cause they were so damn amazing in the beginning! Especially with their chocolate isolate that was cheap and of perfect quality.

Its got some flow tech enzymes mixed in there, but yes no carbs.

I said nothing about him as a forum member. I labelled their service as I see it... I bought from them for many months before, spending 1000s,, and constantly supported them during their "logistic" problems, but that can only be an excuse for so long, and its been going since almost the beginning.

What would you rate a company that doesn't
1. Respond to emails (and according to reports above, still don't)
2. Don't deliver on committed deadlines.
3. Don't replace goods that were delivered 3 monts after ordering, with only 3 months to the expiry date - after promising multiple times to do so.
4. Have repeat delivery/stock problems.

There are also quite a few people I recommended BSSA to who ended up running to me when their orders weren't delivered, making me look like an idiot,

Not too sure. I think its because it has a blend of different proteins.
Also, its their only flavoured product (as far as I know)

Do not twist my words from previous discussions, that is cheap. I said give them a bad review that is fine, calling them crap is out of line. There is no need for slating the company.

So then I'm not allowed to say Axio or Keifei is shit? On a public forum no less..

Hahaha now that made me laugh, Chapel! :lol: It would seem I overestimated you. But yes that's fine I like this idea. Let bygones be bygones and all that.

I used them about 2 weeks ago, got my goods in 5 days. The time before that it took 7 weeks so they seem to have improved. Now its just the expensive shipping fee, and the isolate price has shot through the roof (compared to when ondier first started).

Really? Insulting me after I asked you to call it quits and said I would as well? Hmm. Oh well. I don't think I will rise to it.
