Hi Guys.

Hope you all had a good week so far?

My appetite is still playing yo-yo. Some days I feel starved other days I have to force myself to eat.
On the nights I do weights I can eat like a animal. On my cardio nights I get naucious just from the smell of food.

Just thought I would share that experience so far. This is week 6 for me.

Going to spend some time tomorrow to work out my macros for a Layne Notron Ultimate Cutting Diet for me.
I get what he says about the thermogenic effect of proteien. I also fit his example as my weight is now 100kg so Fat is on 50-55g per day. The rest I will look into in the morning

It is on you. It always has been...

Okay The Ultimate Cutting Diet

Based on his principles but with my stats.

My Calories come in at 1910 I wil go one over if you calculate. I like the low carb content remember I am verry carb sensitive. And my Body Fat is still high so I can stay away from carbs.
330g Protein
55g Fat that is good fats. Butter. Olive Oil. Coconut Oil and Palm oil
24g Carbs this will be devided into 12g for Breakfast and 12g Post workout low gi carbs.

Furk and Pyro please give me your views and thoughts?

Am I on the right path or off?

There is no need to have protein that high it's just going to burn your wallet. On a cut you can keep protein to 2g per kg lean body mass. In your case about 160g. The calories you reduce here can be used for more fats or carbs around workout times.

Thanks Pyro

Ja hey I thought I was going to struggle to eat that high amount of Protein a day.

I wil drop It and re calculate with more carbs at Breakfast and Post workout. I do not want to push past 50g Low Gi carbs a day though. I am leaning towards oats?

It doesn't even compare to oats. You can add the pro-nutro to your diet once in a while if you feel like something else.

Hi Bud.

Be careful. Might mess with insulin. Your body will expect caebs or sugar to come that it will nevet get. In anticipatopn of the sugar and carbs that the sweetners trick your body into thinking it is going to get your body will spike insulin. This might kick you out of ketosis.

Latest word on the block, the sweeteners used in Coke Zero shouldn't raise insulin. The same thing can't be said for all artificial sweeteners, also the research is a bit inconclusive. If Coke Zero helps with cravings on Keto, go for it. Gassy drinks help me to suppress appetite so that's also a bonus.

But if you have willpower of iron give all artificial sweeteners and sweetened drinks a skip. Things like the tablets and sachets have lactose and dextrose to provide bulk, for retail products they usually use a combination of sweeteners.

Hi Guys

Been hitting the new Macros of 1911cals
160g Protien
55g Fat
50g Carbs

for 2 days now. Weigt is up 2kg @ 101kg this morning. Have been hitting al my weight and Cardio sessions. Infact have done 3 addotional morning fasted state cardio sessions the 1.6km walk in the moring to work from bus stop. Could the new carbs and fat be responsible for this? Been getting comments that my arms shoulders and chest and calves are bigger?

Will give it a week or two there and see how it goes. Thinking of uppung protuen to 200g and adjusting carbs and fat to stay at 1911cals.

Going to add Coconut Oil as my Primary Fat source in twp weeks time that os after pay day. Going to do some shopping then.

Thanks Rooi. Bud I have learned hey, whatever happens I won't compromise on the diet. I've seen it before, I will still drop even on medication + diet deficit. Discipline the body not to crave junk when your sick.

Hang in there Bud.

Hope you get well soon. You should be on a good multi if your budget alows it. Wether you are sick or not always take a good multi. Diet Macros are important yes. But remember we are cutting and not eating a verry varied diet so our bodies will need vitamins now more than ever.

Get some good rest mate.
