Hi Bud.

How does that work. What do you do or are you requiered to do?
I think I will update every Saturday/Sunday as my last meal on Sundays will be my cheat meal so that Mobday mornings won't be an accurate current weight due to bloat/water retention.

if that is okay with you Bud?

If you are with Discovery Vitality they will reimburse you for one of these once a year. Nice for points and getting to know yourself if you don't regularly check blood sugar, cholesterol and HIV status. (although those tests are only indicative, they don't compare with tests done at a pathology lab)

Hi bms

How you holding up Bud? Did you weigh this morning what is it looking like?

As I will be weighing in on Sunday mornings I thought I wpuld share my experience so far.
I am trying to feed my body the same thing at the same time all the old bodybuilders do it and believe it is best if you can manage and stick to it. So far it has worked for me the weight loss results show it. But it is no easy feat. Some meals I am starving by eating time other days I have to force myself to sit and finnish my food as by meal time I am not hungry at all. Same goes for water I get hella thirsty some days others I just gooi the water down because I know the body needs it

Hi Rooi

Start: Week 1 (31-08-15)
Height:176cm
Weight: 108.1kg
Bf: 34% (from BMI index and estimated bf%)

Start of:
Week 2 (07-09-15)
Height:176cm

Weight: 104.2kg

Bf: 34% (from BMI index and estimated bf%)

Overall weight loss: 3.9kg

Exiting but its just water weight from the diet and exercise. Will push this week and see on Monday how much i loose per week.

My experience:

Breath is terrible i can even taste it. My wife complaint over the weekend. Had to brush. I also try and eat around the same times everyday.

Water, i drink +/- 3 litres per day. My carb up will be on the 4th week. In have arranged them once a month. So for full 3 weeks I'll be in Ketosis. It takes my body 3-4 days to adapt.

So far so good. Feeling a bit lighter than last week.

And i want to go to the fit and fab expo.

Good, leta keep going.

Macadamia nuts are delicious, just be careful lol they are denser than lead! ;) For what do you use the butro for? As far as I remember it's margarine (trans-fats).

I alternate between Macadamia/ pecan/ almonds / walnut.

I'm using the clover butro. Unless i missed something, its a butter.

"Clover Butro contains sunflower oil to give you an easy-spreading softness, so you use less and gain on taste. Clover Butro is manufactured from a blend of cream derived from pure bovine milk and vegetable oil and which received a heat treatment of at least 85°C for 15 seconds (or the equivalent there of). It is classified as a high fat butter spread. The cream is graded according to strict quality standards."

Not trying to be an asshole, but if it's a fat spread that contains vegetables oils, it's hydrogenated. No, a bit of trans fats won't kill your progress, just making you aware. I'm surprised how common lard and duck fat have gotten.

The fact that it has unsaturated fats in but is a solid chunk, means that it's partially hydrogenated.

I'm pretty sure unsaturated fat mixed with saturated fat (butter) will yield a sloppy mess and not a solid brick. Not in the food manufacturing industry though so I'm just trying to use logic here.

Like I said, if it fits in the plan tjen all's OK. Just don't have eggs alone, the high leucine content in eggs can raise insulin high enough to kick you out of ketosis. So have less eggs, but add in a fat piece of bacon, or cook them in butter.

Is the whey their just for sweet cravings?
