Hi Admin/Moderators

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned/suggested this before, but what do you think of having/creating a Recipe section?
The guys and gals from the forum can post up some of their recipes. You can break it down to fish/chicken/meat sub sections.
I'm sure many would appreciate it as we always tend to run out of ideas of what to make.

The easiest is if we create a thread and post up our own recipes as neat as concisely as possible, and if the content is good enough it'll become a sticky. I know I'll contribute, and I'm sure Greg will also be keen.

I'm afraid not many will bother posting recipes and it's better to just create a thread for that and make it a sticky if it becomes popular.

We had a transformation section before and hardly anyone used it for it's intended purpose.

This is a small forum, so simpler is better.

But is there any way of increasing the font size when replying/creating posts?

Admin, haha yeah thanks bro. Can we perhaps discuss possible rules for it in this thread to get this thing running? Maybe things like recipes have to follow a set format, include nutritional value and preferably a picture of your creation. That way we can avoid polluting the thread with quick type-ups and garbage.

gambit, well you got the ball rolling bud :)

Sure, go ahead. I don't have much time to think about these things at the moment but tell us what you have in mind and then you or someone can start the thread.

It might be a good idea to prevent casual replies to a recipe thread to avoid it getting cluttered and the first/second post might even contain a index of the recipes that include a link to the post id, so that it's easy to find what you are looking for.

I'm REALLY looking forward to this thread! Whoever creates the thread, please announce it here!

The thing that is no.1 on my "problems" list, is the Food Prep. The foods are just not the same the next day. I've tried freezing, tried to just refrigerate. Cooking the meals EVERY day seems nuts, but that's what I do at the moment.
I'd like to have my Daytime meals prepped for Mon-Fri. Morning and Evening meals can be done on demand....

Should I start a thread about this perhaps?

Shut up and Squat!!

-sakes MRfeathers, sorry but your thread is exactly what we wanted to avoid. Wish I could sage that thread.

I was thinking about more along the lines of entries must be like such:

Keto Taco Omelette

Ingredients:
Whole eggs, 2
Egg whites, 2
Avocado, 80g (about half an regular avo)

Method:
1. Put the stove plate on a high heat and prepare as you would for an omelette (teflon pan / cook-n-spray ect.)
2. Separate yolks (2) from whites. Mix the 2 yolks together. Pour in pan.
3. Beat the whites (4) till it's a bit foamy.
4. When the yolks have began to cook and becoming visibly firm pour in the beaten whites. Reduce heat a tad.
5. Don't over cook this, you want the whites to retain some volume. When finished remove the still open "omelette".
6. Chop and mush the avo and place it on one half of the "omelette". Fold it over to form semi-circle.
7. Season as you wish before folding over to retain the spices.

Value:
Calories: 312
Protein: 17g
Carbohydrates: 8g (3g, fibre minused)
Fats: 24g

Bonus:
Good for a last meal of the day cause of the fats vs. protein content.
High in riboflavin and selenium.
