When is enough, enough? was created by roger
Hi all.

At what age is it pointless to keep going for the body you always wanted. Lets face it, we all get older..

Im 35 now, turning 36 in Oct. Should I just keep going, or is it time to start working on the 3 times a week to keep healthy approach?

Im contemplating another cycle and I have lost 21kgs and need another 16kg to get to my goal weight. My plan 3 years ago was to get to 95kg, 100cm waist & 50cm biceps. I have waisted a year due to work and financial constraints.

Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Roger!

Depends on your genetics. I have friends in their 50's that look fckn good. And then some train 5 days a week and eat @ the spur. They look shit.

Over 35 and your Nutrition is critical, you have to know your diet and that has to compliment your training schedule.

I actually started at 132kg (173cm). I know, FatAzz..

I dropped to 99,3kg by Jan last year. Had some stuff happen and Im back on 111kg.

I started seriously again last week. Eating right (I think) and training every day. Only resting on Saturday.

Thats CT Fletcher he's in his 50's, you have no excuse to not have the body you want ;). Stay motivated, you have made good progress. My advise would be to get as lean as possible and then think about running a cycle. Post your diet so we can see if youre on right track.

Firstly, thats good work Mr. Fletcher!!

I get up at 05:15
Hit the gym at 05:50.
I do 30min cardio. Depends what I feel like. Cycle, rowing, treadmill, circuit (very light weight), etc.
I get home, take whey protein.
around 07:00 I have some oats (just add hot water).
10:00 I have 4 eggs, scrambled. (yolk and white) or 2min noodles and tuna
13;00 I have chicken with brown rice and mixed veggies. (sometimes stirfry)
16:00 I hit the gym for weight training. Using Kai Greene's program.
After gym Whey Protein
I give an hour or so then I have supper, usually around 17:30 - 18:00.
Supper is Chicken or Steak with mixed veg or stirfry.
I try to drink 2 - 3L water every day.

Advice please

That would be nice :-)

I used to be somewhere around 130cm and my best was 109cm since I started training. Thats why I thought I would be happy with 100cm.

Honestly that might be your problem. I think your immediate goal should be to drop the weight first. Steroids wont do this. You need to diet and maybe look at a clen stack to get last weight off.

Once you drop the weight two things will happen- first you will be highly motivated as you are going to feel great. Secondly you can now asses what needs to be done to get that desired physique as you can see which areas need work.

You still have loads of time, wont give up that easily.

My goal has never been to be small and thin. Hence the 95kg & 50cm biceps.

Thats wanting some big cannons (50cm)..... i would say achieving 45cm biceps is fckn fantastic. Just remember that your tricep makes 2/3 of the measurement of the bicep ;)

Arnold sized arms ... Haha well to be honest, seems like you gain rather easy, with some smart eating, and careful coaching, it could be possible, maybe not 20 inch shredded arms, but could be close

I want to loose the belly. Not worried about a six pack.
I want to be comfortable with myself to walk on the beach, next to the pool.

And... I dont want people to wonder if I gym, they should take one look and know :-)

Im fine with that "Strongman / Powerlifter" look.

I have no idea. I try to keep it to a minimum. I just look at white bread then I pick up weight.

I try to get as much protein with minimum carbs. Just enough to sustain energy.
