you need to workout your maintenance calories and make sure you're at a caloric deficit with your diet. otherwise you're not going to lose any weight.

you're on the right track by keeping protein high and carbs low but theres much more to it than that

but remember these calculators arent the be-all and end-all, but more of a guidline. you will have to do some experimenting to get to the exact number

start with 2000 calories and see. weigh yourself every morning, naked after a pee. if the scale goes up you are at a surplus, if it goes down you are at a deficit, if it stays the same you are at maintenance

Hi Roger

Have you read the stickies.

www.anabolicsteroids.co.za/forum/10-dieting-contest-preparation

If not start there, they will help you calculate your calorie intake and also help to constuct a decent diet for yourself.

Once you have done that, post your diet and the guys here will help tweak it for you.
a couple of months with a good diet and workout regime and im sure you will get the result you want despite you age.

Oh and alot of dedication with consistency

its not just about calories
your macros are important too.
you need a certain amount of protein to sustain lean mass and a certain number of fat for normal bodily functions
