What about the Landrover Evoque

500k for a car tsg,how ever.super smart car.

The Evoque is nice had a chance to test drive it.drives nice and handeling is good.power is not bad either but its a bit small.

It's an awesome vehicle, although pricy, it comes standard with excellent features so you don't have to worry about the add-ons unless you have the extra cash to spend.

What about the bmw 1series???drove the 135i was very nice.its got power,handeling and a lot of gadgets.

Jakes, im just saying, yamaha R1 or 6 or suzuki GSXR, all im saying is 127km/h in first, and you still have 5 more gears , if i was in your position id go for a bike, fuel efficient and has plenty of power and speed haha

That's what I'm thinking too, and keeping the beamer for when it rains. Its still a "new" car after all.
The yamaha or suzuki are good but they can't match the kawasaki zx10r or the bmw rr. They are by far the best performing bikes if you buy a new one. The kawa is 175k new and the bwm is about the same.

They may be the best performing and insanely fast but as far as bikes go, they have no soul!

Italian bikes all the way - Ducati 1198, Ducati 848 Evo or a classic MV Agusta F4!

I was on the verge of getting a classic MV Agusta F4 then found out the wife has a baby on the way so now also in the market for a new car although my budget is nowhere near what's been listed on here so far!

My A3 isn't particularly convenient for a car seat apparently

Try driving the N4 to Pretoria at 120 you feel like you are crawling. I don't usually drive fast just thought I'd test it out.

Jakes the new kawas are good I wont disagree, but in that price range I would go for the bmw rr then, but yea I love the new R1's they are gorgeous...

Ducati D16RR is the most expensive bike iv ever came across tho, closest you will get to owning a motoGP spec bike, nice price tag of +-R720k

The bmw or kawa I will buy second hand. I see a lot of them on the market with only 500-1500km on the clock so its basically new. Plus the price is 20 000 lower.

Are you talking about those white and red R1's kyle? I really liked those 2006 limited edition yellow ones

Jakes, regarding the cars.... have a look at the new F30 320i or even the 320d. All the new petrol BMs now come with turbos as well as standard 6 speed gearboxes. They are also reintroducing the 328i and this will come in an 8 speed. The new 320d is now 135kW 2l turdodiesel and this also comes with an 8 speed gearbox. I'm a BMW fan through and through so out of the Audi and Toyota it is a no-brainer IMO.

If you wanting a bigger car then there is also great value in the KIA sportage. My girlfriend drives one and I am very impressed. Goodluck bro, exciting times!!

i'd import one from the uk, but an older one. 5000k on the clock for about 100k imported- F4 that is.

What would you guys rather do- baby on the way so my a3 needs to go.

Spend 150k on a 1yr old hyundai i30 (or similar) or get something like a 5 year old low mileage audi a6 with an extended motorplan?

i dont know if you wil get either of those for R150k.
I30 not as big as the A6, why u comparing them? Why not a 4door A3 or an A4?how much space will the baby need?
My wifes i20 is nice, hyundai service is nice, extras nice,reliable so far,engine performance okey, a bit high on fuel consumption but the engines are pretty high performance.
With all of that...its stil not a german car. If u like cars, get the audi.
