Testosterone and prostate safety.Morgentaler A, Schulman C.

For several decades it has been assumed that higher testosterone (T) leads to greater growth of benign and malignant prostate tissue, but this view has come under greater scrutiny over the last several years. Although there are as yet no large-scale, long-term controlled studies of T therapy to provide a definitive assessment of risk, numerous smaller clinical trials as well as population-based longitudinal studies consistently fail to support the historical idea that T therapy poses an increased risk of prostate cancer or exacerbation of symptoms due to benign prostatic hyperplasia. This lack of prostate risk despite increased serum T appears to be explained by data showing that exogenous T does not raise intraprostatic concentrations of T or dihydrotestosterone, suggesting a saturation model. In contrast, there is mounting evidence that low serum T is associated with greater prostate cancer risk, and more worrisome features of prostate cancer. In conclusion, the available evidence strongly suggests that T therapy is safe for the prostate. Given that the population at risk for T deficiency overlaps with the population at risk for prostate cancer, it is strongly recommended that men undergoing T therapy undergo regular monitoring for prostate cancer.

I actually asked my doc what his view is on me using and he said there is no problem; its quite safe, just avoid orals(MY liver not the hottest - too much whisky:laugh: Gama GT - had to slow down on the sauce) and use a reputable brand of test - like sustenon.

Your not impressing anyone by making sweeping statements about people, products and intensions on a site that is geared towards putting information about there about a Taboo subject that ultimately helps people. So if you cannot add something positive or at least constructive criticism, well what are you doing on the site? Are you trying to piss people off? Push an agenda? Really I would love to know? Since nobody here has gotten personal except you don’t be surprised when you get flamed…

I went and looked up the studies and the relationship of Testosterone and Prostate Cancer and it seems there is no link, but I don’t know at what doses the Testosterone was used. Do you maybe have a complete study where you can check up on this?

If you read my post (not the one where I flamed you) I didn’t attack anyone, I just made a statement about gear. I have had contact with pharma companies before and I just shared my experience with them, so yes indeed I have something to share.
Also, you can see, I do and try and quote papers from medical journals, so I’m not giving some stupid comment based on air.
And yes, it seems at HRT doses, exogenous Testosterone can’t be linked to prostate cancer.

No they don’t not any straight thinking one. First, let’s just look at the risk of cancer in older patients and then evaluated what the introduction of Testosterone would mean. It means throwing petrol on a fire.
Just to correct my own comment, I should have said, HRT doesn't cause cancer (since there is no link) but actually it’s like throwing petrol on a fire, if the patient already has cancer and doesn't know it, or a cyst, etc. So, lol, MxT, I picked a side
