Reason being I like keeping my workouts to 4 exercises then 20mins cardio. So on leg day I do squats, normal deadlifts and standing calf raises so theres only space for 1 of them unless I move calves to shoulder day and ditch the upright rows

4 might not be enough for legs bud, its a pretty big muscle so you might want to add more in there.

Also deadlift is a back excersize, unless you mean stiff legs?

move calves to twice a week with another muscle and not legs.

here is what i do for legs:
leg extensions, warmup of 3 sets
leg press, 4 sets of 10-12
Squat, 3 sets of 10-12
leg extensions, 2 sets of 15
Hammie curls, 4 sets of 10-15
stiff leg deadlifts, 4 sets of 10-12

Ya I know the deadlift is mainly for the lower back but I find its also very good for my quads, hams and calves. For shoulders I do standing military press, seated dumbell shoulder press and upright rows, thoughts?

What exactly is your goal? Hamstrings are a weak point for just about everyone. They need proper attention.

You should squat, legg press, lunge and stiff leg dead lift, add in calves afterwards as its a small muscle group.u will grow like that.

The hamstring has 2 functions: hip extension and knee flexion, you have to exercise it through both to maximise its potential. SLD works the extension, leg curls work the flexion so it would be wise to do both or a substitute of each

Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!
