I've done IF quite a lot. This time round has been for months. I am constantly tossing it up.. I normally start out on about 40/30/30. It never stays that way for long.
As far as I am concerned maintenance calories can never be calculated accurately, I tried that for a while and I end up getting fat eating 200 calories under maintenance and was eventually at some ridiculous deficit on paper but it worked.. Now I just know what to eat and what works on IF so I don't bother working anything out, I lose consistently anyway but hitting plateaus allows for a slight look at average calories then another toss up.
To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.
