Morning All

Not to be funny but I'm not sure I'm doing this right or something may need tweaking

Its been 2 weeks clean dieting and hard gyming losing on average 650 cal each time, yet my stomach measurements have not dropped at all, my weight is steady at 90.1 +/-

I'm eating 2500 cal a day and losing 650cal when I workout

Should there be a loss yet or is it still too soon?

Stats:
eating 2500 cal
RMR - 2000 cal
BMR - 2500 cal
Losing - 650 cal
Deficit - R150 cal

So if 1 pound of body fat is 3500cal, this will take me 23 days to lose 400grams of fat at 150 deficit each day, that's only 1kg of fat in 46 days and with a body fat % of 16, its gonna take me 688 days to lose all the fat?

Is this correct?

Im not doing cardio at this time, should I start again?

You dropped alot quite quickly, and yet again u are over thinking this situation. U dropped from 93-94 to 90.1 in 2-3 weeks correct?

Add in 20mins cardio daily now, heart rate 140-145bpm. Only start counting cardio from when your heart rate hits 140.

It took you 20 years of eating to get the fat, so you can't expect to shed it in 2 weeks. You HAVE to realise this is a patient game. 2 weeks ! Come on man, give it time and work your arse off ! Keep at it and keep your diet super clean.

Bud i ate clean and trained hard for 4 weeks before i noticed a difference. Remember you are stoking the fire now and the heat is picking up, when the flames are up then you will start losing nicely. Talking about your metabolism by the way. Lol.
Just keep at it. Do more cardio to pick your appetite up to like DJ said.
I am 2 notches up on my belt which is about 5cm in just over 2 months.
KEEP ON KEEPING ON LADDY YOU DOING GOOD.

You sound like me. LOL i google everything and get myself into such a hype because everyone has a different opinion.

Spot on T, the sudden loss of wanting to eat or craving it has something to do with me stopping cardio, need to get my self back on track with cardio

I did try Hip hop abs 20 mins the other night at home, after 6 mins I thought I was gonna die.

My wife has me getting her these shows right to work out at home, think the last time she used them was about 6 months ago, lol, P90X and P90X2, hip hop abs and insanity and and and

LOL - gotta love it

Did a bit of reading now on Keto, very interesting stuff

Is this not something I could consider? or is this more for when you finish a bulk and need to strip the fat away?

My understanding is that ive added carbs to my meals to fuel my workouts, but Keto says you can do this by making the body use the fat rather than carbs

Thoughts please

Again im asking as im not sure of the results of removing carbs from my diet and trying the Keto diet?

Keto diet also says that if you eat correctly using the diet you wont have any muscle loss, only fat loss, sounds pretty good to me

Bud, I dunno how to tell u this other than stop being so impatient. Keto diets "work fast" because the body drops a lot of water from muscle glycogen stores, but the first week or two is more water loss than fat loss. Yes it kills your hunger and is pretty simple to follow, but is it as effective or better than a low carb diet? My opinion is no. I have done keto multiple times and u feel flat most often than not. Cwrbohydrates also stimulate metabolism and also help with optimum muscle contraction so thats why u cannot use keto to gain really decent quality muscle when lean bulking. There is a major chance of muscle loss with keto if you do any cardio that is relatively high in intensity. U need to do long boring 120bpm or lower cardio which I feel does nothing major for metabolic stimulation or post exercise energy/oxygen consumption. Stick to what i have advised u for 6 weeks then consider changing things, but I honestly think u are looking for quicker faster results and well it doesnt happen

Agree with everything said and that book is great! For the sake of giving you a more rounded view, i will tell you that with keto if you really know what you are doing it's very powerful and takes little effort compared. When I am on keto it feels like I am on holiday versus low carb dieting. Keto is damn effective too! And easy on the wallet, joints and cholesterol.

Ok here we go again...

As of today im 89kg

I'm now being told by my wife and people at work that I'm looking thin...
Since a few days ago my jeans no longer fit me and ive moved a notch down on my belt

All my measurements are showing a loss, biceps, legs, calves, pretty much all over yet my stomach has stayed at 98cm

Ive now been on the diet for 3+ weeks I think eating clean at every meal.

My question is, is this normal, DJ has said its water loss, should I keep going?

I don't know what to do, I feel skinny and thin with a boep, my legs and arms are starting to look like sticks

Do I stop and start clean bulking maybe and put in more cardio to cut the fat away that's left?

Im getting a bit concerned at how I look right now. Some have said in posts before that this is normal, at 85kg im going to start looking sick

Nevermind

I keep reading how people are like fingerprints, we don't all respond the same way, what is the reason then for the loss over my whole body and not a single movement on my stomach

Your are getting to technical, you also over complicate everything and read to much crap ! This game takes time, and when i say time, i mean YEARS ! It took me 17 months of diet & training like a mofo, just to drop my belly & love handles.

So be patient, follow the advice given or shuttup B)

It s the alien within that keeps morphing you into different shapes daily to mess with your mind. LOL.

Seriously do yourself a favor lad. Stick to what DJ say for a min of 3-4 months then report back. Some people take longer to achieve what they want compared to others.
This game is not only about hard work its also about being strong headed and keeping on keeping when shit goes pear shaped or off track.
Pick yourself up and move forward.....oh and STAY OFF THE FRIKIN SCALE!!!!
