Morning

As of this morning, my weight has dropped to 91.2

At lunch today I will measure all body parts and compare to my previous recordings, by looking in the mirror, I can see I have lost muscle where I was gaining, my arms are starting to feel thin.

If I have lost everywhere and not on my gut, then I think something maybe wrong, thoughts?

Ok u wont have lost muscle
U would've depleted glycogen stores making u loose water on the muscle making u look flat. So not muscle loss.

your mental approach to this whole situation is your problem bro.... just my 2c

you cannot expect to lose ANYTHING around your gut, when you havnt even stuck to a diet for a week, just a few days ago you spoke about cheating.

so unfortunately nothing is going to happen without your dedicated input

Not sure, that was hardly a cheat bud, 1 little clover milkshake does not break a diet in my mind, lets consider the fact that ive been eating clean since I built my diet a week ago sunday night and have been eating well and putting in the work. I do however think dj is closer on the mark about water loss.

Lets not throw in the towel just yet, I only asked for thoughts, I know this takes time

Lol i think what we are trying to get at is that you cant call it a cheat when you not following a strict routine. That choc milkshake is just a norm because you have not even gone a week eating your "Diet".

Alot of the time when u are also not drinking enough water and u start drinking more to keep your body better hydrated u will actually retain leas water. There are ways to keep the muscle fuller and keep water in the muscle. 1 is to add sodium to your diet. Unless u have blood pressure issues sodium will make u hold a bit more water but it is also needed when weight training. My training partner last year was having close on 10l of water a day of which he used to add 1/2 a teaspoon of salt too...

2 is by adding creatine to your supplement stack as it also draws water into the muscle keeping it fuller and helps with strength. I would only suggest creatine monohydrate.

And from your post it was a burger and chocolate milkshake if I remember correctly. U will need to replenish glycogen stores after a full week of dieting by having a very carb loaded meal thats low in fat and protein and high in carbs such as home made chicken burgers with pineapple and oven bake chips and some gummy sweets or frozen yoghurt thats lpw in fat.

Afraid you guys seem to mis understand, I have been following my diet, making sure I don't miss my cal intake for the day based on my meal plan, having 1 choc milkshake was a fault of mine, other than that, I have not said I have not followed my diet, I have been

The other part of this whole thing is this, its mental as PP said

Im tall and being tall, losing weight is not something I want, its a mental thing...

Now all the advice im being given is that I need to lose weight while eating more to reduce body fat and then to build muscle, correct, the problem is the losing weight part... its all mental.

You guys seen tall skinny guys at the gym and you say to yourself, give that guy a sammie, this is how I feel.

Being tall and thin is not nice, but im hoping for the following, at some point, not sure at what base weight, my stomach will be flat and from there I can start putting on weight, but muscle mass, this will take time I know this.

Have some faith Rome wasn't built in a day it takes time and commitment. I wish when I started out I was spoon fed like you've been, your learning some very valuable information on this thread.
We all go through the mental thing the first time we drop below a certain weight(I remember it clearly) because all of a sudden you realize just how little muscle you really have. But give it time and in 6 months a year you'll look back at the pics your taking now and think WTF...
You need to strip the fat (it'll happen quicker than you think if you give 100%) then when you've learnt a load about dieting and how you respond then hit a cycle and grow like a week... By Christmas when you hit the beach at a lean 90kg with your abs popping out not only will your Chick be bubbling in her nickers you'll feel such pride at what you've accomplished.

Learning what a good diet can do for your physique is the best gift you'll ever give yourself.

Go big or go home...

I ate a gatsby (Not a normal one, this one had ribs in it) and frozen yoghurt yesterday. Woke up looking the leanest I have in ages. But then again I stick to my diet like wet on water 99% of the time so having those cheats are fine if you are committed to your diet for the rest of the time. Like everyone has said, its a mindset, just gut it out.

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

u shouldnt be frying your food to be honest unless its in with spray and cook. i have red meat 2x a day with onions, mushrooms, green beans and peanut butter. i have these 2 red meat meals as the last 2 meals of the day as i find redmeat is better for me before bed.

I would go for 1 burger with pineapple,600g of oven bake chips, and 500ml of frozen yoghurt will be enough for now as a refeed. When u get leaner and leaner u will need more calories.

I do massive refeeds because of the amount of training and cardio I do a day. I will refeed on 6500-9000calories depending on length of time I refeed for, how intense my cardio has been during the week and how low my body temperature is. U are just starting out, I am 9weeks into heavy prep.
