They said I could buy a 70kg weight stack at a later stage for about R6000. For R6k you could rather get 150Kg of weight plates for a plate loaded solution.
My plan for a a cable crossover solution is to put mount two modified punching bag wall brackets with added pulleys on opposite walls in my garage gym like this below:

That would be great if you had the time.admin wrote: I wonder if there would be an interest in open source gym equipment? I've considered designing multi-gym equipment in CAD and releasing the design. One can use square tubing cut at angles and welded together to avoid bending and tube notching. The idea is to keep the design simple so that anyone with welding skills and a cutoff grinder can build it at home or ask a local engineering shop to do it cheaply.

Muscleaddict wrote: I found this company who sells 50mm steel tubing connectors that could make assembly of home made machines, or home modified machines a lot easier without needing to weld everything. Would made transporting parts a lot easier.

I want to modify my home 'full body' gym machine without welding onto it, so I want to add on a brace connector and attach a low row foot plate for my low cable pulley.

Fear probably plays some role as well, but I would be very disappointed if people still think that COVID is dangerous. I've been ignoring traveling and social distancing regulations since week 3 and I've noticed that people from different areas have different levels of obedience regarding regulations. Personally I don't give a shit.
I've been trying to get COVID for months now, but unable to because I'm pretty sure I've had it long ago already and didn't even know it. 00pump, you don't perhaps have a snot sample to send me that I use use as toothpaste?

I have 5 people in my family and friends circle who tested positive for covid19. None of them were spring chickens, and 4 out of 5 had mild symptoms. The youngest 48 and the oldest I think 77. My 57 year old cousin had bad flu symptoms and lost 6kg in about 2 weeks but nothing scary.
A good mate of mine in his mid 30's still refuses to go out to restaurants or gym. It's blows my mild how healthy, young people can still buy into this hype. But both of his parents are doctors who only see the worst cases and then scare the shit out of him with their stories.

An African problem needs an African solution and I’m of the view that those that attack farms or anyone else for that matter should be killed on the spot or hunted down and dragged to the nearest police station where they should be executed in public by the community. Anyone that interferes or gets in the way should be dealt with as well, but I assure you that nobody will get in the way... This won’t work at the moment, but it will happen once the situation reaches boiling point, almost started in Parys a few years ago but the politicians made sure to extinguish that spark before it could explode... they won’t have that ability anymore soon.
Protests are great for raising awareness which will help reach my goal above, but it will have absolutely no effect on the state unless they get pressure from overseas. It’s all about the balance of power and you need to play the power game the same way the taxi and union guys does it.
