HCG injection protocol question was created by beemer
Hi,

Please correct me if I'm wrong but a "Subcutaneous Injection" is basically an injection into fat? Correct?

It seems that the safest spot is below the ribs, as explained in the protocol procedure. My questions are:

1. Do I need to stand or can I take it while being seated, as there is more skin/fat to pinch?
2. Do I release the pinched skin once the needle is in?
3. What would happen if I injected the HCG into muscle?

Thanks

How's it bud,

Yes sub-q is into the fat, I use the general ab area as frequent pinning will leave u looking for fresh spots, just make sure to stay away from the belly button, like a few cm radius,

As for standing and seated, I do both? Has never made a difference to me, always keep the skin pinched too, the shot is over in a few seconds anyway,

As far as I knw it can be taken IM too, but an insulin needle is far more convenient, there might be a difference with absorbtion rates tho, ?

Dare I ask how painful this injection is in comparison to Cyp, prop, winny or a vit b injection?

As Mike said, it's only a little sting for a few seconds. Feels like a bee sting... or a couple of bee stings...

You can also shoot intramuscular with an insulin syringe into delts/bicep or anywhere very lean. Bioavailability is very similar to sub q, just slightly better. IM doesn't burn at all if you are feeling like a wuss

I used Ovidrel and I didn't feel a thing bro. Apparently the only difference between Ovidrel and Pregnyl is the sting from the injection.

Cheeky little things,

Sorry for the jack, but why do they all burn?

PP it is the 0.9% sodium chloride in the sabax water that burns.

Hi,

So all I do is - use a syringe to extract the liquid from the one vial, inject it into the other vial (with the powder in), shake it up, and inject? :)

Did my first HCG shot yesterday. Totally painless aside from the needle prick. I forgot how easy it ease to inject water based solutions over oil based.

Hope I didn't do anything wrong, and am still waiting for the area to become inflamed, as with a virgin muscle. lol

Sorry dont want to hijack your thread. What gauge insulin needles does one use for hcg?

Then which type of insulin syringe is best to use? The ones that looks like normal injections or the one thats in some sort of housing tube.

Sorry again but il be starting my cycle next week and will be a first time using hcg.
