morning77 wrote: creatine ethyl ester is complete shit. only creatine that actually works is CREAPURE creatine which is 99.5% pure creatine made in germany, its contained in the ON Creatine and Nutrex Creatine drive. the rest is just placebo and shit because companies always try to market new forms of creatine to gain more customers,

Uhm. No.

Creatine Ethyl Ester is inferior to Creatine Monohydrate as it turns into creatinine faster than monohydrate does, but that does not make it completely ineffective.

I advocate ethyl ester because, and I feel like I'm repeating myself here, monohydrate needs an insulin spike to be absorbed, and an insulin spike before training is not what you want.

I prefer monohydrate, I'm just saying for pre-workout, something like ethyl ester is better.

Saying creapure is the only true creatine? Yeah...guess those first few kgs I gained quickly first time I used monohydrate must've been that placebo kicking in...who woulda known?

Also, if the other creatines are just placebos then that means the companies are selling us a powder that isn't creatine. Tell you what, morning, since you've known it first, you get to sue them for misleading their customers, I won't lay claim to the amount settled afterwards.

Didn´t expect much of this thread at first. But now that we are arguing about creatine I know I was right.

Funny that you say this because Creapure is micronised creatine mono.

creapure is not just micronized creatine mono, and neither does any creatine need a "insulin spike" thats just a myth, i all the idiots saying drink your creatine with juice and have it at certain times, is BS, doesnt matter when or how you have it.

Ok @Morning77,we don't care about creatine, the thread was about pre-workouts.

If you think that Creapure is superior to other forms of creatine then Mooi vir Jou!

Also what scientific backing do you have about your claims? If you can support your claims maybe someone will take you seriously.

What Barbell Barbarian said, seriously, where is your scientific backing? Your statements are coming off in a manner that makes you seem, well...less intelligent than before. I'm sorry, but that's the case. You're making wild assertions and stating it as fact without backing it up.

Got to agree with you, I was a Jack 3d fan until the new version, moved to physco which was okay. 1MR is kicking my @ss and its cheap bud.

1MR is the only preworkout I have thrown away and had 2 friends turn down when I offered to give it to them after trying it.

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

Suppose it affects us different, I have tried at least 6 different types and 1MR give me serious power and energy and even the tingles from the good old Jacked. I don't even crash during or directly after workout.

Ya we don't all react the same, but 3 of us? It was just horrible, no pump, no vascularity and the no crash claim? BS, that crash had me feeling more depressed than Tony Soprano.

Next shot for me is Titan labs berserker.

Bro, IMO Berserker is the bomb! Best pre workout for me! Give it a bash bro. And it nicely priced as well.

But I totally agree with FIIIet, they all affect everyone differently. I also believe you have to cycle your post-workout and change brands all the time. That has always worked for me.

Got a few samples of 1MR.

Pros: Gave me decent focus and good pumps.

Cons: Couldn't sleep at all after. Hated it.

Generally I hate any pre-workout that is loaded with caffeine, like this one is.

Old-ish thread.... I Know..

No mention of Condense from Purus Labs, I love the stuff!!

And it's free of all the bad stimulants, DMMA Free, DYE free.
Unfortuanately it's also creatine free.

Currently I have one scoop of it, plus 1 scoop of Amino Energy.
Drink half the mix before training and then sip the rest during.
It works for me..
