Best and worst supplement brands of South Africa?

i currently use
preworkout : purus labs muscle marinade- nothing compares to this for focus, intensity and pumps. only downside is trying to fall off to sleep so i use half serving which is 10 grams and that makes it last over 2 months.

i cant believe that more of the guys arent using sps isopro whey. this is pure whey protein isolate at a fraction of the price of optimum or gaspari. if you compare the new optimum hydrolysed whey or gasparis whey which i think is also isolates, then you cant go wrong in terms of value for money. also comes in juice flavours so for me goes down easire postworkout especially when mixed with my watermelon flavoured game carb drink. cant imagine mixing that with a chocolate or strawberry flavour.

i also throw in 8 grams of ssn cgt (creatine-glutamine -taurine) and 3 grams of ssn bcaa for a powerful anabolic storm

also used sps ultra protein. get up at around 2 am and down 40grams of ultra protein which is 60:40 whey :cassein ratio to halt catabolism from overnight fasting.

sps for me until i can become a millionaire and then afford optimums hydrolysed whey

Remember most of you are now conditioned to think that they're shit because of the bad reviews on forums and so on so your views of the product is probably not the most sober of thoughts. And, those bashing them, when last did you give them a try? Maybe not in two, three years?

Like I said if you now pick up a USN product you are already thinking, "what a pile of shit"! Would you like that if rumours are spread about you aren't true but people believed it and didn't want anything to do with you?

I don't any USN products in my house but that's because the brand doesn't appeal to me, not because of alleged poor quality products. You have to say well done to them for the brand they've built amidst the controversy.

I started reading a bit and went over to Animal - Pak/MStak/Stak - with ON whey isolate - the 10lb bags(still around R500 back then). Universal - Storm and Shock therapy for pre-post workout.
WHAT great results. At a fraction of the cost.
I still cant push what i did on MStak.

Then i see the USN fuckers driving around in Ferari's and shit! Nice. Please do, but why do they charge the same as international brands? Doing fuckall research etc. They just copied the popular brands! Even the packaging!

If you can take your hat off to a snake, well then go ahead. I feel cheated and have a right to this opinion of them.

BTW - what do you think it costs to make a "Vooma"??? Bunch of sugars in a little bag?

Anyway - i'll tell you a secret. These companies as well as Sportron etc go on a 20% total cost MAX. Anything above that and the company wont last. So they take the total cost and sell it at 5 times that. MINIMUM. Most of the popular stuff sells for way more than that.

Have a look at GNC(general nutrition center) in the US. Americans buy their supps at a fraction of the price here. Why? Produced locally to them - mostly.
Why not the same from OUR LOCAL PRODUCERS - USN?!?!?!

If you buy USN you support the way they operate.

Just bought the Evox Synergy whey, Cookies and Creme, and i have to say it has to be one of the best tasting proteins i have tried.

i donno my opinion is if u drinking protein for the taste then rather try find a job at milky lane,,my best tasting protein is raw egg whites..

and i got to agree with jackrabbit,if i got given free usn products i wuldnt even feed them to my dog i would empty out the containers,pull off all the labels and then use the containers for something more usefull like storing old junk

dont agree at all. why should someone stick to something revolting like raw egg whites when there are tastier stuff on the market. if its something ur going to consume frequently on a daily basis it could at least be more paletable. drinking raw eggs etc compared to tastier alternatives doesn make one more dedicated or badass. not arguing. just think ur comment was little out of context
