Never been bitten. They do give you fair warning though. The hair are something to get used to, if you handle them it will itch a bit. Basicly like fiberglass just not as bad, but some are worse.

I grew up with a rottie and a bull terrier and never got bitten or attacked once, although the bull terrier had to be put down because he was a naughty shit and was forever jumping over our 2m high walls and biting the black ladies walking down the street, or mating with the bitches in the neighborhood, people where threatening to shoot him

Would love to own a pit bull one day Koe!

Love the buuuuuuuuuuuuuurn!

I have considered it, did alot of research on it too... Something just draws me in about the Dogo Argentino i just love the build, and stance and just love the white colour as it completely suits the look of the dog.

If I cant find one that is reasonably priced will just end up with my second fav looking dog... A english bulldog...

Pitbulls are a beautiful breed of dog but I wish they'd ban them in the western cape like they do in Oz. Have never seen a non-aggressive one, I'm sure the situations different in other parts of the country (as in Koe's case) but here in the Cape there's only one reason people get pitbulls and that's to show everyone else how much of a cunt they are

Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!

I'm honestly not being hard headed here but in my experience I have lots of friends and family friends who own pitbulls as family dogs and guard dogs that are 100% placid.. I am biased though, I am obsessed with pitbulls. But ya, if you go out to the Northern suburbs (sorry iMan) I am sure there is more than one yob sporting a pitbull on a spiked leash called Killer, all to match his mohawk and honda vtec.

You are 100% right DG Durbs is the same at least the bluff where I am from. Mine is very Placid great with my kids, actually my daughter the baby is highly protected he actually sits by her when the girl goes to hang washing, she pulls on his ears, tail and he just lies there. The owner and bloodline determine the dogs temperant.

Yeah its all about the owner in terms of how the dog turns out and unfortunately most people here in the Cape are your typical hot-head whose pitbull pulls them around the neighbourhood just so they can look like a tough guy. I suppose banning pitbulls will just result in these retards finding a way to make Chow's aggressive

As I've said, my dog is the friendliest ever.

I don't agree that the dogs should be banned. In the end you can't hold them responsible for their actions. They're merely behaving the way they were taught to by their owners. I stand by this because every single pit that I've been exposed to hasn't been vicious or aggressive towards me.

I also think that we ourselves should change the mindset we have regarding them, especially since it's not the first breed we've "demonized"

In the end I love these dogs. Never have I ever experienced a more loving or protective breed

Chapels dog is the cutest freakin thing haha no one can say no to a worsie...

Von, don't think there is any cooler dog than a bull terrier such awesome dogs.

Iv contemplated buying a squirrel also... love different animals besides your dogs n cats. One day I will have a jack russel and bull terrier once I have a house with a nice size yard

Nice spiders Waldu, I plan on eventually keeping more spiders such as
venezuelan suntiger

Green bottle blue

Gooty sapphire ornamental

In my opinion orboreal spiders are alot more colorful and nicer to look at compared to terrestrial ones.

IF you ever feel like being stupid get a Thai Black, this spider is a very unfriendly bugger

Kyle: if one is these amazing looking guys decide to take q quick bite, would you have a little trouble on your hands or are these non venomous?

Won't have much issues with those bites. Most tarantulas are just about as venomous as a bee sting. If you have a alergic reaction you might have trouble. Never been a recorded death from a bite, they are cool pets don't bite without warning so if you "listen" to him he won't bite. If the last one in the pics bite you you might heve severe pain for up to 48 hours

ABC what waldu wrote.
Most of these spiders are quiet defensive though (We say defensive because if they were aggressive they would go out of their way to attack you, defensive means that they are merely defending themselves and their home) All of these spiders would rather try get away from your hand than bite it. They always give fair warning before a bite.

Tarantulas are devided into old world and new world spiders, meaning old world spiders have only one form of defense aka bites, and new world spiders have two forms aka flicking irritating hairs at attacker while running away and in worse case scenario turning around to bite.

Love the buuuuuuuuuuuuuurn!
