Cycle suggestion to ditch the dadbod was created by dadbod
Hi. 37 yo. Not naturally lean. Started crossfit 2 years back and went from couch potato (118kg / 29%bf) to average flabby dadbod (97kg / 13%bf)
Diet is on point (i would like to think)<br />
Arms and legs very lean (+- 6mm) but this gut is not moving.

Some cycle advise would be appreciated. Tried Sust for 10weeks (advice i got from a questionable source). Got strong. Lean mass picked up nothing more.

I've read about Test E + Var for cutting but not sure.

Thanks

Hey @dadbod, firstly congrats on shedding that weight, that's awesome and well done. Secondly, crossfit? Wtf, nah im just joking. Bro my advice is to go get some bloods done, you are in the age group where the T-Levels start dropping , check where those hormone levels are at. If its out of range , well then first see what your doc recommends. If it's in range, what i can suggest is two different approaches . Firstly changing training, if you stuck on crossfit, then change it up, up the intensity, add more sessions or start looking at bodybuilding, as weight training massively burns fat. Secondly, change of diet , I don't know what your diet is, but something that works for me is, carb cycling, or just flat out high fat/high protein low carbs for 6 days and a one day controlled binge. In terms of cycling, mate that's a bit more difficult, as diet and training mainly dictates fat loss, chems just aides in the process with few exceptions. A good cycle to keep test levels up while eating at a deficit is all you need. I personally don't rate var, and have never witnessed it's fat loss claim, maybe at high doses but don't recommend that, var seems way overpriced and in my circles its only for women

Well fuck, only posted half of i what i wrote. Here goes part 2: why I recommend is:
Test E : 300-500mg pw/pinned bi-weekly for 12 weeks ( leave sust, as it has quite the ester complex and its a beast to master)
Albuterol 12mg/ pd/ 3 spread out doses. 2weeks on/2 weeks off, you might want to taper the dosage to your preference ( stay away from clen, dangerous stuff that)
Yohimbine: helps for those stubborn fat areas. Remember to drink it on an empty stomach and give it around 3 hours to do its job.
Albuterol and your yohimbine work great together, add some caffeine in there and boom, that a great weight loss stim pack.
Key is all in the training and diet though, chems will only aid the process you want it to aid, so if you train and eat like a cutter, then that what it will do, and visa versa. I didn't add a pct as I assume you know what to do on that behalf. There are some sarms for weight loss, but not too knowledgeable on that so someone else might chime in for that. Other than that, i think that's a good approach, once you get more experienced with this scene, well mate then there are many ways, but based on the question, stick with simplicity, that cycle will work. If all else is tuned in. Goodluck bro and seriously well done on the journey so far.

I agree with the statement that Clenbuterol can be dangerous and scary even @100mcg. I had a bad day when I tried 100mcg. But for 4weeks before that I handled 80mcg fine. But that is me. One persons sweet spot can be another guys nightmare.

Same with Yohimbine I handle it fine don't feel a crash or jitters but most of my friends can't go over 10mg.

Good information on that video Eidolon. Don't start out with 60min high intensity cardio. Start with 20-30min once a day either fasted or straight after weights then bump up the time and effort level once your weight loss slows. Also don't start on a too big calorie deficit.

Carb cycling or calorie zigzaging also works

It is on you. It always has been...

Solid advice guys. Thanks.

My current diet is banting/keto on 1600cal and a 5%C, 60%F, 35%P macro split.

Ive used Axio labs Cyt3 combo in the past (3on2off) that worked well.

Yes, crossfit... 5 - 6 days a week. I was really thinking about changing to 3 days and doing 2 days pure weights training as I still want to be fit.

Ill do my first pin on Sunday (Test E 250mg). Want me to keep you posted on results?

Eidolon - cant see the vid link. Will open in browser..

Mate your metabolism might be tanked, hence why weight loss has halted. Your calories are very low and will definitely halt metabolism after a couple of days. If you plan on keeping it that low throw atleast one massive cheat day in there, also the t3 from cyt3 might be the cause, due to you supplementing exogenous t3 and not giving it time to recover post use ,plus the added low cals. If t3 is in the equation you need to use it smart. Great fat burner, difficult to estimate right dose. Haha yeah leave that crossfit and join the gains church

I've only recently started with Keto so I want to give it a proper chance before returning to a 2200cal plan with more carbs. I've been on this plan for about 14 months so I guess my body is numb.

Need to shake things up!

2 week update:

My cycle so far:
250mg x 2 p/w
Anavar 50mg pd - week 1
Anavar 60mg pd - week 2
Cyt3 ED. 3 days on, 2 days off

Weight is stable. Drops a bit and goes up. Can feel mid section skin getting thinner.

Question: do I stick to 60mg Anavar ED for week 3 & 4?

100mg var is what I used at your weight for 6 weeks

No offense, not saying you not making progress but looked better before, your diet is not on track. Post it, aim for a 50, 30, 20 macro split. We about the same age.

Bend that iron, don't let it bend you. Once you get there to maintain is fairly easy.

Respect for getting off the couch.

Hey Fillet.

Non taken.. its what these forums are about right?

I'm really feeling great on Keto and my split is:
5% Carbs (25-30g)
60% Fat
35% Protien (220g)

Doing 3 meals per day on 2200g cal per day - all whole foods

I'm thinking my weight is stable because I'm loosing fat and picking up lean mass? Yes/No?

Been doing a mix of power/weightlifting and cardio 6 days a week.

Feedback always welcome!

Fillet, I think some of it might be the less flattering lighting, but from the little I can see, agree he's lost size in the delts and traps.

I've never tried cyt3, but perhaps it's got something to do with using it 3 on 2 off. Dadbod, unless you're eating inconsistently, can you think of another reason for your weight fluctuating? Some people have very sensitive thyroids.

K

Drop the var, you not lean enough, will only make you strong and waste cash

220g protein and not gaining lean mass, can we see the diet?

Forget powerlifting for now, weights and cardio for now

Let's see that program if you good with that

Spot on. Think there's a danger of going skinny fat. Agree that we need to see his diet and understand what he's aiming to achieve. My next cycle I'm going to try to add 5cm in height :p

Not a single carb in sight :(

Paleo/keto diets are incompatible with muscle gain. You must feel like shit, and the lack of fat is what's causing you to lose muscle.
