This morning I was able to get on the home scale and not see ERRRRRRR, I think the gym scale might be set to compliment me by 2 kg's...

Home scale showed 201.3 this morning. Monday it was going over 203 then error

Last night I did myself some good. We had a local CPF meeting and there were sooo many cakes and cookies laying about. I didnt help myself to anything. Not even the tea. Small victory

Keep pushing. If you stay consistent, you will consistently get good results. I know it's hard, but you got to be harder.

I highly recommend for you to start seeing a therapist in regards to your food addiction, and find the underlying cause.

Empire is right, do NOT deviate from the plan laid out for you. For someone in your position it's really easy to go from one bag of jelly beans back to the 2-3kg of fucking poison again. I'm going to be straight up with you. You are severely obese.

That means that you are at risk for all of the following:

All-causes of death (mortality)
High blood pressure (hypertension)
High LDL cholesterol, low HDL cholesterol, or high levels of triglycerides (Dyslipidemia)
Type 2 diabetes
Coronary heart disease
Stroke
Gallbladder disease
Osteoarthritis (a breakdown of cartilage and bone within a joint)
Sleep apnea and breathing problems
Many types of cancers
Low quality of life
Mental illness such as clinical depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders
Body pain and difficulty with physical functioning

I can't sugarcoat this shit for you. If you don't completely change your lifestyle or thinking pattern, it is very probable that you are going to die a lot earlier than what you would hope for, and your family would have a very difficult time finding a casket that your body would fit in.

I'm not trying to be a bully, I really just want you to be aware of the facts and the possible outcomes in this situation.

Let us know when you break the 200 mark.

I wish you luck on your journey and I pray that you will make a success out of it, for your sake and for your loved ones.

Thanks man, I feel really shit for doing the one bag,
But whats done is done, I now work harder to get back on track.

I know the food thing is psychological, I do the whole emotional eating thing, when i get stressed etc. But im working on other ways to get around that now. Plus it helps that im constantly full. Im literally shoving food into my mouth and forcing the previous bite down. theres just soo much.

I think i will be under the 200kg mark by monday. I will weigh in at home tomorrow morning then the gym and see what their number says compared to my home scale.

And please dont sugar coat things, I might eat them

Ok, so something weird is happening,

I'm seriously nauseous, since last nights meal 5,

I forced the last two down. This morning's eggs and then again the oats went down ok, But now eating chicken rice and veg are causing issues.

I have been on my metformin for about a month now, so I doubt that it is that... same brand chicken, same brand rice, same brand bread, same brand veg....

Sorry man has been a hectic week, about to hit an early morning leg sesh so thought I would check out the forum and see how it's going with you. The nausea is probably your body getting used to the new foods and withdrawals from sugar. If that's the case you will probably be experiencing some headaches too. If you eat like shit and then suddenly start eating better, you're gonna feel like, well, shit. Sugar is more addictive than the white powder Mr. Escobar made his millions off of. Give your body time to adapt, and push through. If it doesn't alleviate within another day or so go get checked out by a doctor as it could potentially be something else, but I doubt it from what you've told me. Also try drinking some warm tea with lots of ginger.

I don't often give karma, but straight talk deserves it.

Epic journey and I'll follow for support. The journey is not an easy one, but the results will be very rewarding!

I've also experienced the nausea when changing eating habits and especially the headaches mentioned above. They do eventually disappear. Also dont forget to stay hydrated. People say 8 glasses, but on a training day I can go up to almost 8 liters for the day. Hydration is very important (might have been mentioned in this thread already).

As for the psychological side, try finding hobbies or meditation to keep yourself occupied. I personally have turned to meditation and breathing exercises to keep focused. So far its helping alot with my current situation which is quite hectic.

Again good luck man, looking forward to the changes.

Thanks man, Kind words are keeping the moral up.

The nausea isnt too bad anymore. It has come up twice again since saturday. But not nearly as bad

Update time, cause I am damn freaking proud.

199.3kg's!!!!!! I am below 200kg's for the first time in over a year
Next goal is 195 by Xmas day, then 180 by March 20th, (My birthday)

Thanks again to everyone following this, It helps knowing that I am being supported and held accountable for results. Never been in this situation before and I think its helping alot.

I know he said he isnt going to view this thread anymore, but Empire, if you do stumble upon this, Thank you again. You helped me alot more than you know

Nice man!
I think your goals are very realistic!
Xmas season is hard to stay on track but if you just keep the progress you have made in mind it should help!

Congrats on breaking 200. You've got the ball rolling now with breaking some bad habits, so the next 5kg should be easier.

So time for an update. I dont want to spam everyone so will be toning it down

Yesterday was a really tough one, stood arguing with myself about if i should add a spoon or three of sugar in my oats (i cant rid the house of all sugars as I have a wife and 2 kids who still use)

Then i said, no lets get on the scale first and see. Believe it or not, 197.9kg's... Needless to say, No sugar

This morning I went for a walk, got back, jumped on the scale and 196.9kg's. Almost 10kg's in 16 days!!!!!

Well done once again!

So it might have been suggested or might even be something you've done already... but maybe try adding some whey powder to your oats? I personally have done it many times when I crave that sweetness. In fact these proteins sometimes get so sweet that it puts you off wanting sweet stuff. Worth a try if you haven't done it before. However do note that it also adds some calories if you are tracking.

Buy yourself some sucralose sweetener. Of all of them it tastes the best and the most like sugar since it was the first sweetener actually made by modifying the sucrose (table sugar) molecule.
