Especially if he is hungry and his wife and kids are going to be having Malva pudding and custard and he has 150g of carbs for the day and he is starving, that is asking for binging behavior.
And I'm the first one to experience that post show. With iron will power for 26 weeks, with no goal, trust me, binging is a thing even when I went up to 400g of carbs a day, I could easily eat a box of oreos, a liter of super m and a chocolate cake in a sitting.

Ive only been on this forum group for about a year or so but your willingness to help is pretty damn cool.
I dont think there is any post I have disagreed with and there are loads I have learnt from.
Ive been toying with the idea of getting a proper trainer (even though I am a hair away from 40) and seeing your advice will mean I will likely ask you if you have capacity (if I can contact you, there should be a contacts section of trainers who are validated here and willing to be contacted for advice I reckon)

Not happening, tried it in the past and it didn't work as intended. Stick to the forum rules, I don't like where you are going...

But fair enough, your forum, your rules

Are you stopping for reasons outside your control?
Or do you feel you need a break?
I don't think it is a good idea and will set you back, but shit happens, accept you will likely set yourself back.

Its been almost a month now and I have barely seen a result, The only changes seem to be water weight.
I feel I need a "palate cleanser" of sorts,
Im also just in a very Bleh mood, been in it for a few days now. Literally everything is a chore and even getting to the gym this morning was a major mental battle.
I am in a slump of note....

I can take criticism. I dont always like the truth, but hey its the truth.
Im looking at this situation the same way I would look at something at work, or a hobby..If I keep banging my head here and not seeing anything change I know im going to give up. Rather take 5minutes, clear my head and come back to it when I have refreshed myself.
Except in this case im not taking 5min, im taking a week.
I am also not going to suddenly order pizza and milkshakes for every meal. I will stick to some healthy stuff, I will get some different fruits and veg through my body, maybe some red meat for a change. I have a steak in the freezer thats been calling me.
I know its not a quick fix, But day in and day out im working my ass off, Excersize wise im doing 45 minutes of weights , then another 45 minutes of cardio. During the day im still adding another 10 000 steps onto of it. Thats not going to change. It cant. I know if i take a week off of that , im done. I might aswell buy a wooden box and some charcoal, cause i wont see 40. The diet needs a small break then back into it.
Changing medical aids now, the new one starts in march, they have a dietician benifit, I will make use of that too.
