BP does fluctuate, but it is more consistent ,his fasting bg is down in the 5s down which is good. He is working with me and Lesdoctor. Glucophage is on point and it's doing its job incredibly well. Diet changes have been made now after another diet break and he is ready to smash it.

Also dnp is not for the faint hearted, and we wouldn't need that at this point when he is dealing with compliance with hunger issues. Dnp would be fucking detrimental to progese if constantly hungry and potentially over eating. Remember dnp creates a great calorie deficit, but you can still get fat on it.

Now if you look at practical application of dnp, 50mg is nothing, number 1. But any stimulant or fat burner in essence will raise blood sugar levels, when liberating the fat you get glycerol and free fatty acids mobilized into the blood stream, then you need to actually utilize that blood glucose and mobilized fat through oxidation eg cardio or weight training to get rid of it.

Now what dnp is doing in the background is improving insulin sensitivity and burning through that blood glucose and blood lipids and being released as heat causing the deficit. So in actual fact, similar action occurs when using any stimulant. So if you get bloods done on dnp, you will see high blood glucose, as well as high cholesterol based on the mechanisms above.

So 50mg of dnp is such a small dosing, that you would only get a 5% increase in metabolic rate. Now 500mg is a different story.

So he could have gotten away with 500-1000mg of Glucophage and a 5% decrease in calories.

BP is down alot, was in the high 170's up to 180's at one point, Strangely didnt get headaches etc. Standing up quick made me light headed but thats it.

this week i have been between 135 and 140 over 80's all week. Thats big

Like Empire said, sugars are average 5, dropped to a 4.8 this week aswell.
Overall I think its decent so far. Started properly in november, dropped big time then from jan I have been stuck in the 180's. Was up to 190 again at one point.

Like Empire also said, diets been a bit of an issue. Cravings are getting sorted. Todays a bad day but I have some fruit to hopefully sort that out. Also old habits of watching motogp and F1 with a bag of sweets. Today its some bilton sticks and coke zero. Lets see how that works out

As for stimulants. Nothing beats some pure backyard tik. Sprinkle of your coco pops and you are good for a week!

So I survived the Motogp and F1 cravings. Its alot easier to not snack, if theres nothing in the house to snack on

I think we have the diet good now, around 3000 calories a day and only a few days in, Im under 180!

179.8! Blood sugar is still between 4.8 and 5.2 when I wake up. BP is a little higher lately. But I think it might be the extra test that I am on. Will give it a week or so to stabalise and then we can look at it again. its not overly high, but its something to look out for

Im allowed one cheat a week. This week its going to be a meal at John Dory's. Havent had a good fish n chips in a while. Maybe treat myself to some prawns. Was originally going to skip it as my weight was staying inthe 181 range. But yay!

I dont see why you need to cheat. Cheat when you reached the goal. Hate me, love me, but thats a fact.

Don't see it as a cheat meal, its a planned untracked meal where you can spends some time with your wife and kids and not have to worry about your diet being thrown out.

Oupa, since we implemented this, compliance has been 99% on track, so it's a reward system approach, as well as a slight bump in calories before a heavy training day.

We don't all have iron will power, myself included. I mean I am nearly 2 full weeks in to my plan and I'm waiting to have a skipload so I can maintain training intensity.

1 meal and eventually more than 1 meal a week to allow him to comply and adhere to his diet for months at a time vs not having them and he can't stick to things and has them unplanned is winning in my book.

Cheat is the wrong term, but its a term that we all understand.

I work hard during the week and once a week I am allowed a little something something for myself.
This helps keep me focused, helps me push myself, helps me see the light at the end of the tunnel.

all the way through this thread i have posted about how I dont work well with long term goals, Empire understand this and helps me with it. this is just one of the ways he has changed up things to help me succeed and its working...

Don't discount the benefit in boosting the metabolism that naturally slows down

Still gaining strength.
Sleep was shitty last night but otherwise everything is still on the up and up. Still going longer/heavier on each set.

Got an idea for more motivation.

So its been a few days, and honestly that comment still hurts.
I personally thing the floral brings out not only my eyes but my personality too

Update time, even though im now officially out of the 180's (178!) My strength is still there. Today I went up in reps on all Lower body excersices. leg press has gone up from 120ish for 10reps a few months ago to 300 for 10 now.

105 for 10 on squats shortly followed by 60 for 22 reps.

Maxing out a few cable machines (Leg extension etc) its really awesome. Feeling like a billion dollars today.
