Keep up the good work and the results will keep on coming?

Have you pushed through the 90kg Mark for benching yet?
I'm sure it was just a mental block?

Thanks bud.. Have keep the results coming, it's the only option I have.

Bench is at 100kg's >> that's including the weight of the bar, if that counts. If not then at 80kg's. Bumbell press I'm at 90kg's [45kg's per arm] and that's my max. Serious risk if I push it over that, at this stage. I have a training bud too, that spots on that weight. I won't get those baby's up otherwise. :silly:
For my stats and my goals I recon I'm pretty much on point hey. :woohoo:

I totally get you on this, Rhino. And I find when I am on cycle all that's in my mind is to try go as heavy as possible, else I think I won't grow. And what you are saying here is so true. I always forget this. Will get MUCH better gains, adopting what you say here.

Ye Bud, doing 5 reps at the speed of light is hardly going to to as much muscle damage as 10 full reps with a proper slow negativite and a full range of motion.
John Meadows recons that you need to have enough control of the weight that should you wish to change direction half way through your slow negative into a push you should.
When I see people doing any press movement wher the weight is pushed up and then basically dropped I laugh as all the damage is done on the decent

Two x 20kg plates on either end including the bar is 100kg's in my book.

I agree with you 100% on this Rhino, you've been around awhile and from your pics you are in great shape. So I take you don't agree with the training you were doing in the beginning of your cycle? I read you were doing heavy weights with few working sets? Do you reckon that is what pushed your injury over the edge (Cause you've been struggling with it already before the cycle?)

Last question (and sorry Ron for the derail) if you do 3 x working sets with at least 10 reps.
Don't you reckon it would then be a good idea to add a 4th working set at the next weight available? That's how I've been doing it...even if the 4th set is only 4 reps, eventually those 4 reps turn into 10 reps. Then you drop your old 1st set and the new heavier weight becomes now your 3rd set with 10 full reps. Then you add a new 4th working set again even if only 4 reps and so it goes on?

Hey Bud ye I was doing heavy sets but still never dropped below 8 full reps per set and I take my time on a set trying to get every bit out of it.
What I would do for say chest is 2 warm up sets on 80(I personely don't include the bar) and then 3 sets on 120. Then I'd probable just do 3 more working sets of incline @ 120. And that would be chest done but I'd do that twice a week. So I'd do 15 reps then 10 to 12 then at least 8. With no more than 1 minute rest.
Even with my injury I'm still basically doing the same but not going below 10 reps and mainly sticking to the likes of hammer press and smith machien so that I don't incorporate my stabalizing muscles to much.

I'm just saying that if your only able to get 4 or 5 reps out your not ready for that weight and you haven't exhausted all the other Tweeks you can make to your form. Like a twist on an incline DB or slowing the pace right down on the negative. The gyms are just loaded with guys that don't even contract or no how to contract and train the muscle and as a result bounce heavy weights arounfd year on year and make no progress just destroy joints.
Another one is if your not able to go all the way down ATG squatting 80 why would you go up to 120 and not even get as low as parallel .

Hey Bud I'm no Guru getting injured just puts thing into perspective. Your muscle doesn't no what weight your pushing it just reacts to stimulus so the main point to remember is the most time under tension possible per set, full range of motion and of coarse go as heavy as possible while NOT sacrificing form at all..! And for me a good judge of that because I train alone is I've hit my Max when form fades on set 7/8. So I can still complete the rep but I'm bent out of shape and am starting to incorporate other muscles to do it.

Personally I do the same as you Heritage, on that last set you have moved up in weight and can only bust out 4 but next time 5 and so on... Progressive overload is a big part of my training as long as you maintain form and have a spotter. The heavier I lift the bigger I get. Again we are all different. I often also fail two or more times on a set but will persue until set is complete.

Ye for me training alone forced reps aren't possible. Just make sure if your only doing 4 reps on that last set that they are slow and in perfect control.
See I don't pyramid my sets so all my working sets are at max until failure so I'll end up doing less reps on set 2 comared to 1 even though the weight is the same. a 4th set at a higher weight just wouldn't be possible, and then as a last excercise il do fst-7 with say cable flys .

Like Fillet said there are many different ways to train and no one way is rite. As long as you progress you'll grow .

The point is if you don't have perfect control ,full range of motion and proper form you shouldn't be doing that weight yet.

Go big or go home...

Howzit Gents..

I'm heading for the 2nd phase of my cycle > the bridge.
My 12th week of the Deca will be next week and my last pin is on Thursday the 14th of August.

I need advice and tweaking my bridge, in terms of timing, dosage or anything I should change that could benefit my bridge and make my PCT as smooth as possible.

This is what I'm thinking for my bridge phase...

Okay so I wait 54 days form my last Deca pin which is on the 14th of Aug, right? I counted from the 15th, which means I will be due to start my PCT on the 7th of Oct. Bridge will be 7.5 weeks.

So my planned 'bridge' looks as follows:

Weeks 1-2 >> continue with Super Test at 640mg /week pin Mon & Thurs
Weeks 3-5.5 >> PGW prop 100 @ 150mg EOD.
Weeks 3 - PCT start date >> 50mg Winnie ED. [Will stop 2 Days before PCT starts]
Weeks 1-PCT start date >> HCG at 500iu's / week. Mon > 250ui's & Thurs > 250iu's

[I have been ruining the HCG as above from week 5 of my cycle]

Questions:

1 > Do you guys recon I should carry on with the Supa Test for the proposed two weeks? Or should I drop it with the Deca and bang the prop at 150mg EOD from week 1 - 5.5

2 > RE: the Winnie. I found out this week that i'm going snow boarding in the Austria this December. I need to be supa, supa strong for this and I always prep months before because it really takes a lot out of my body, mostly my legs. Will my joints be affected by the Winnie? And maybe still fragile by then? I am gonna run joint support tabs. And by the time we leave I'll be done with my PCT. And well into the recovery phase. What do you guys think?

3 > Would I have any benefit of running proviron in my bridge? Or would it just be overkill?

4 > I have been running the Cabaser throughout my cycle. E5D exactly as Oupa said. I have had NO Libido issues or 'Getting hard' issues. Thanks Oupa! + 1, Always appreciate you bud!
The big question is, how long should I carry on running the Cabaser for, after my last Deca Pin?

5 > should I drop my Calories while I'm running the Winnie? I love carb cycling to lean out. That works well for me. I'm just worried to drop my Cals and lean out too much and loose mass. What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance to everyone.

Regards to you all.

Hahaha! I was waiting for that 'mean lil MF' Avatar to pop up, then I add! ;)

Ah ya, won't be summer for me hey Oupa! LOL! Will be all wrapped up.

Yeah man.. I am so amped to make my bridge hardcore, Oupa. and make some nice gains still before December. Not cause I wanna look huge and all buff while I'm away, cause that's just not the kinda oak I am... but it will help me lank with the snow boarding. ;)

So any ideas to spice things up and I'm all ears and all game.... :woohoo:

You're a SOLID dude, Oups! THANK YOU! Lots of good Karma your way dude!

Last year we were in the snow for a full 7 days and I literally lost 5kg's in those 7 days. And I think it all came str8 out of my quads. You can't really chow healthy on the slopes so I just pack nuts and any kind so dried fruit I can find into every pocket I have and loads of water. >> also wasn't any help that I started my PCT in that exact week. BAD cycle planning! #NEVERAGAIN!

I have 2 x LP Winnie's, 1 x LP Anavar, 4 x PGW Prop and then lots of stock of PCT meds and AI's etc.. that's about it hey. And the prop is never a waste. And I'll only ever use LP or PGW.

I also have one and a half left of Super Test 320 and a full sealed LP Proviron. Forgot about this.

Do you still have enough cabaser to carry you through until about 3 weeks after the deca ?

There is so many options that we can follow to stay anabolic.. choose a number 1 - 500 :D

PCT is 7 weeks, if I'm not mistaken hey Oupa? So if I finish the Deca this week, then I will have completed my PCT on the 25th of Nov. we are leaving on the 20th of Dec, so that's in 17weeks and three days. Eish! :woohoo: got plenty time to do some power stuff! ;)
